I grew up in the country and really hate the taste of chlorine-ish city water. For years I have always installed a filter of some kind on the cold feed line in my kitchen sink so I have good-tasting drinking water. The only problem is that the filters can be such a pain to change. This style is a life-saver. Turn off the feed valve, pop the old filter off, put the new filter on, turn the water back on, and flush for a bit. It literally takes a couple minutes... in fact the longest part is probably the time it takes for me to take the crap out from under my sink so I can get at the line!

This makes the third or fourth replacement I have bought. That alone means that it works. Six to seven months before replacing. Just a comment, any product that you have to turn off to use the hot water needs to be deep sixed. Will continue to buy this replacement.

If you use these filters, buy them at Amazon! They are the same ones you buy at any local home improvement store at a much better price!

I've used these filters for years and recommnend them. I also recommend replacing them at 4 months instead of the normal 6 months.

This filter works great under our kitchen sink and is easy to change every 6 months! We've been using this system for about a year and love it!

Very easy to replace, you just unscrew the old one and screw in the new on, with one easy twist. They last longer than you would think. The current one I have has been in use for 9 month, still no loss of water pressure.

Didn't feel like navigating though Manland otherwise known as Lowe's to find this product and so I just purchased it through Amazon. Love the under sink filter that it fits and ordering it online made it so much easier to keep up to date on replacing the filter. Wish Amazon had every 6 months automatic order so that I could just auntomatically know when to change it.

Assuming that you pick the right filter for your system... This works well, cleans up the taste, and saves money over going to Home Depot or Lowes.

Excellent filter system. Instructions give you a reminder sticker for 6 months. In my case, since it's just my wife & I, it lasted much longer.

I find that if the cold water hasn't been turned on for some time, especially overnight, I need to run the water for at least 20 seconds in order to flush out a mildly disagreeable flavor that comes from the filter. Thereafter, the water tastes fine, with no hint of the chlorine that I use it to remove. Not bad for the money and convenience. I'd still buy it. Just remember to flush regularly! ;~)
