I have ordered these Filtrete 16x25x4 filters several times. I always order the 4-pack since I change my filter every two to three months. It is a shame that I have to contact customer service on every order because they send me ONE filter instead of the advertised 4-pack. My most recent order has now been delivered incorrectly two times. That means I have had to send back the ONE filter twice now. What gives Amazon? Maybe you should re-check the shipping company for competent shipping personnel. Sorry, just tired of having to re-order through customer service repeatedly.

I find the construction and overall quality better then Honeywell filters. Hard to find the filter for less then $30 each and the free shipping helps. I replace the filter about every three months.

Good product, more efficient then similars from Honeywell especially the frame is sturdier and the filtration is better for just a little more money. Very convenient and fast delivery instead of wasting time at Home Depot and Lowes to look for it.

Regular air filters require change each 3 months, which I always forgot to do, so I was really happy to discover this Filtrete model, which is designed to last a full year - 12 months. I don't see it anymore at Home Depot, so it's great to be able to order it online instead.

If this filter seems a bit more pricey, remember that it also lasts 4 times longer without costing 4 times more, so it is really less expensive than regular filters.

I have used these filters for a couple of years as replacements for the broken electronic elements of my Honeywell air cleaner. The filters seem to work very well and appear to be functionally equivalent to the previous electronic version. The Amazon price as usual was slightly better than anywhere else. Combine the price with no taxes and free shipping and the deal is the best around.

I think the price point is pretty decent as I have several furnaces and replace twice a year, but was a little disappointed that the box came crushed on one side and so had to massage the filter somewhat back into shape to get into filter slot in furnace. I don't think the quality or effectiveness was compromised. So evaluation of "okay."

I use a Lennox MERV 16 whole-house filter ranked best by Consumer Reports for pro-installed filter systems that do not emit ozone. Unfortunately, 3M has chosen to abandon the MERV standard, so it is impossible to the quality of its filters with other brands. The best way is probably to discover how well the submicron particulates are filtered, so I called 3M to find out how well this filter did that. The company responded that such information is "confidential." This is unacceptable. For many people a filter is virtually a medical device. A good filter may, for instance, be an helpful defense against asthma. A MERV 16 is actually designated for "general surgery" by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers, which developed the MERV ratings. There is no good reason why the filtration capacity of any filter should be a business secret, and I would avoid most 3M filters on that account. 3M is a good company and it should know better than to treat consumers like this.

(If a given consumer wants to take the self-ratings of manufacturers at face value, the Lennox MERV 16 filter does a much better job than this filter. It certainly has more surface capture area and a thicker medium. It's also much more expensive.)
