"In developing this novel product, we wanted to provide a solution for those looking to eliminate bottled water waste, while still maintaining the convenience of bottled water," said Laurie Altman, General Manager at 3M. "The Filtrete Water Station provides water drinkers with fast filtering and reusable water bottles, while helping minimize the impact to the environment and one's wallet."

The water station provides the approximate recommended daily water intake--64 ounces--with each bottle containing 16.9 ounces of water. The bottles are BPA-free and feature a leak-proof cap. The bottles and tops can be washed conveniently on the top rack of dishwashers.

The fast flow filter in the water station lasts longer than traditional water pitchers, filtering two and a half times more water than traditional pitcher filters and up to 100 gallons of water. Taking the guesswork out of knowing when to change the filter, the Filtrete Water Station also features a three-month filter change indicator that shows when it's time to replace the filter. The fast flow filter housing is recyclable with #2 plastics.

The new Filtrete Water Station from 3M provides the convenience of bottled water without the cost or waste. Unlike traditional filters that are slow and require separate bottles or glasses, the station filters water directly from the tap into four, reusable water bottles. Have purchased these many times before from other vendors but this time both filters were defective, the charcoal came out and was floating in the water.

OMG I love this system. My water tastes better using this than from my own fridge! My only complaint is where to store it. Unfortunetly I have a tiny counter with very little counter space so I can't just leave the filtration system in a convient place but that's my issue not 3M's. I had originally hoped I could purchase this and use at work but I have the same problem at work. I still highly recommend this product, the bottles are easy to carry.

I bought the pitcher in October its now November. The water tastes great and we love it. Unfortunately it time to change the filter...

I've bought 2 replacement filters and they both have the black specks floating in the water. We use this water for our newborn but my wife doubts it with the black specks now so we have not used it. I haven't been able to flush the filter clear, I've tried for 2 days.
