Technological developments are making great inroads in areas not normally associated with high-tech equipment. Case in point is the simple overhead projector. Long a staple of classrooms, boardrooms, and offices, they still function as they always have, but they've become much lighter. The Highland HL 1610 overhead projector is as basic as such a unit can be. One switch turns the projector light on or off. Focusing is accomplished in the tried and true manual way, moving the mirror armature up and down the side-mounted metal rod, and changing the angle as well.

Extremely lightweight, it practically floats out of the box. The instructions, which are printed in English, French, and Spanish, demonstrate what's already evident from the few pieces that make up the whole unit: this is a breeze to assemble and requires no tools. Projection materials are placed on the top glass, which, housed within its own frame, easily pops off for access to the bulb, as well as affording storage space for the cord and other external elements.

This unit is ideal for small offices. It packs up quickly and is easily portable. That prime advantage also alludes to a minor downside, that this particular overhead projector is not as durable a model as heavier usage may demand.

This was all my daughter wanted for Christmas and was a huge hit. It is very light weight, easy to assemble from package, and not very big or cumbersome for your home.

We got this overhead for our daughter for Christmas as a last minute additions to her Christmas list to Santa. I shopped around none to be found in the same price range as this one. It is great!! I also received it within 3 days!!! She is playing teacher on it right now.
