What can you say about labels? Well, to begin with, I have an ink jet printer, and these were laser labels. oops. I tried them anyway. They were actually better than the ink jet labels because they didn't smear. I could run my thumb across them right after they exited the printer and not worry about it. And, well, they were sticky. I think that's pretty much all to be said for them. Good labels from a reliable company.

Nice labels! Compatible with Avery 5160 labels, if you use the Avery or other programs that use Avery template #s.

These labels are sturdy, yet are more flexible, and can reposition on paper and other surfaces.

They are marked "laser", yet they work very well with inkjet printers as well.

The flexibility of these labels leads to less jamming than other labels! When you print a LOT of address or other labels, this is incredibly important - especially with mailing lists for organizations where a jam could mean a lot of time in finding where the jam occurred, which labels didn't get printed and then finding this in your program and restarting it from where it left off.

Nicer labels than others I've used!

Great for schools, organizations, businesses and others who need to user labels for mailing, medicines, kid's items, supplies, and so on... Also great for getting organized or labeling things around the house for the little ones to learn to read.

In reviewing this product, I have decided to focus on two areas: how well they do with inkjet, laser printers and pens, and how well they stick. They match up with the ubiquitous Avery 5160 labels, so getting your program to work with them should be easy.

I have tested them with an HP LaserJet 4+ printer, which was perfect, as I expected. I tested printing from an HP OfficeJet Pro K5400 and it also looked great -- very crisp and sharp, even at size 6 font, despite the fact that these are laser labels. I couldn't even tell the difference between inkjet and laser. With a ballpoint pen it was fine and rollerball pen was crisp and clean.

I stuck one on an envelope and it is a very strong stick. If you make an error and want to peel if off, you are going to rip the envelope. On plastic, attempting to peel if off resulting in ripping the label apart. These are very strong! It was a little less destructive on cardboard, but stuck well.

Correct me in the comments if I'm wrong, but I've noticed that Avery seems to try to sell super large quantities (3000) of 5160 laser labels at decent per page prices, but many people don't need that many! At only 750 in this pack, these are a great alternative!

Overall, these labels are great; you can get them to stick to almost anything you might need to mail and you can print/write on them using whatever you have available.

The labels work very for me. I found them easy to use, print on and have very good adhesive on the backs.

Note: You need to be careful when you stick the label on something as it will really want to stay stuck, so it is not easy to reposition the label. The material you stick the label on will likely be damaged when you remove the label unless the surface is more substantial than paper.

Don't let the address labels name fool you. They have multiple uses around the home. I have labeled all my jars in my pantry...will update with a picture. I have labeled my electric braker box so I know what turns what off!
I have used a couple of times for their actual purpose as address labels and they are super easy to load and print. No formatting, just select your font, type and print!!! Very convenient and they look professional compared to a hand written label. They are easy to peel and work with any word document or you can go online and get the free template!
Worth the investment!!

3 by 10 labels are a commodity. Many companies carry it. For my every day use, I cannot possibly use up all 30 labels every time. So I may run the same sheet of labels multiple times through my laser printer. The thing bothers me a lot is that unused labels have stains from glue being heated multiple times through laser printer. These 3M labels do not have this problem. Though it is a little bit pricier, it is well worth the money if you have the same need as me. Otherwise, you just pick the cheapest you can get.

I'm growing tired of hearing and reading so many individuals--musicians, in my experience--complaining about "labels," their main beef consisting of the supposed threat that any general descriptive term--smooth jazz, free jazz, modal jazz, mainstream, hard bop, cool bop, etc.--poses a threat to their singular individuality as artists who of course defy (some even maintain "transcend") all labels.

Well, in some cases the label-resisters have a point, and these 3M labels are a case in point. I don't plan to use them in consort with a software program (pre-printed return address labels are too cheap to bother with making your own), but I'm finding them quite useful in sticking on drawers, shelves, envelopes and files. They have just enough room to permit me to jot down a descriptive word or two and, most importantly, they stick!

Both 3M and Avery are forever producing a continuing stream of little inventions and improvements designed to make life's little labors even less so. Some of the items prove more expendable than others. But given enough time, you might be surprised at the many uses you'll discover for a product that was never delegated for the precise employment to which you put it. In fact, science and progress usually proceed in precisely that manner--coming up with "inventions," and even solutions and cures, through "serendipity" as much as intent. (Quick example: MAO inhibitors were originally anesthetics that, by accident, were discovered to have an antidepressant effect. Or nitric oxide (not to be confused with nitrous oxide, or laughing gas) was once thought to be a chemical with limited but critical importance to the enlargement and blood flow of the major arteries serving the heart.
