I'm an IT professional who sits and works all day; at my desk or on the road. I've used one of these for years, got a second computer for my desk and had to get another. Simple as that.

This is a perfectly fine wrist-lifting mouse pad. It is not what it may appear to be in the picture. My complaint is aesthetic, I do not like the picture on the surface. It is not a sliver, holographic surface that it seems in the picture, but a photograph of a holographic surface. The photo is flat, grey and matte, and not as visually interesting as I supposed it would be. I would have bought the plain black one if I had known. I peeled off the "fake hologram" surface, and now it's black with no logos, and works fine. I do not use speed/accuracy applications, so I do not know if a gamer would be happy with loosing the intended surface. Under the silver surface it's a fine, fabric surface, but my mouse still tracks well on it.

THIS 3M MOUSE PAD HAS HELD UP NICELY, NICE SIZE AND VERY COMFORTABLE THIS THE ONLY WAY TO GO I SPEND ABOUT 12 TO 13 HRS A DAY ON THE COMPUTER AS A STOCK TRADER TRUST ME THIS MOUSE PAD GETS A WORK OUT AND I HAVE NEVER HAD A WRIST PROBLEM IS`T BEEN SEVERAL YEARS NOW AND ITS STILL NOT SHOWING ANY WEAR.REAL NICE SIZE VERY ACCURATE USING A LOGITECH CORDLESS MOUSE.I WOULD LIKE TO BUY ANOTHER ONE BUT THIS ONE WILL NOT WEAR OUT.I GET A ONE CLICK CHANCE TO EXECUTE MY ORDERS FAST OR I LOSE MONEY.TRUST ME THIS 3M MOUSE PAD DOSE THE TRICK.AND ALSO WOULD LIKE TO THANK THE 3M CO. FOR MAKING A EXCELLENT PRODUCT.

Very comfortable gel mousing pad. Going from not using a pad to using one felt weird at first, but I got used to it. Before I started to use the pad, my wrist would ache after prolonged mousing. After using this product for more than a year, I can say I never had a major wrist ache. The mousing surface is matte, different that I had anticipated, but works very well. It can build up dirt etc more than a traditional surface, but it is easily cleaned.

This mouse pad with gel wrist rest is really comfortable. It's quite large, but other than that I like it.
