A band to watch.,

This review is from: 3d (Audio CD)
If I had to compare this band I would say they are a as if chiodos and forever the sickest kids were one band. While the whole electric thing seems to be the new thing there sound sounds fresh and somewhat original. They actually sound like a lot of bands but blend it all together.
But there strength lies is the ability to do something awesome in every song. I'm not sure how to explain it but every song just has something memorable in it. Whether its a chorus, or a cool keyboard part, to the point were every song had something were I was like thats awesome.

Synth Screamo,

A screamo/electronica hybrid along the lines of Breathe Carolina, Innerpartysystem, The Medic Droid, and Rediscover but with a stronger screamo leaning. If you like any of these bands then this is a must listen.

Elegantly Composed,
This review is from: 3-D (MP3 Download)
I See Stars creates a very smooth and collected sound, which manages to further their introspective and powerful lyrics. While this post-hardcore band is at the lighter end of the "metal" genre, offering a good introduction for newbies, this band still delivers the rawness, strength of emotion, and storytelling that often characterizes more hardcore metal. The sweet and smooth sound of the band's lead singer blends perfectly with the well-controlled harshness of the band's screamer. Some listeners will relate the sleek electronic elegance of the sound and the choruses which offer catchy, witty, and poetic phrases, to the lyrics and composition of Panic! At The Disco's "A Fever You Can't Sweat Out," despite the obvious genre difference. The tracks each offer a distinctive sound, and in the case of "Save the Cheerleader, Save the World", three. A very enjoyable listen, with the well-written lyrics, strong composition, and the individuality of each track to keep it interesting and engaging. Definitely a strong entry for a band, especially in this genre overloaded with angry and talentless, though bold, youths; if the first album is this good, I'm really looking forward to seeing what they produce in the future!
