This couch is not as nice in person as it looks online. For the price I guess you're geting what you paid for but I was very disappointed. The pillows on the back barely cover the space and the cushions aren't very supple so you can feel the frame under you when you are sitting. The fabric is nice, and the frame seems solid. It's something I would consider a starter set of furniture for sure! The new version is reversible though, which is a pretty cool feature.
I'm really glad I went to lengths to find a retailer who had this to view before I purchased it and had to pay to return it!!! I ended up going with an Ashley sectional for $750 instead.

-Delivery/Receiving:
Received the couch inside the delivery estimate window and it arrived in 3 boxes at my front door. Not too much hassle manhandling the boxes down a flight of stairs into my apartment by myself, but you should probably have a buddy assisting if you don't get the gold glove delivery service.

-Opening/Assembly:
Opened the boxes and separated all the pieces, some damage to one of the plastic braces that mount to the "foot" of the sofa and a small scratch to the back of some of the Faux leather, packaging should have been a bit more robust. The cracked plastic brace for the footer really annoyed me, as it could break if someone decided to sit down heavily on the rear corner of the sofa. Directions to assemble were straight forward and pretty easy to do, took my GF and I about 1 1/2 hours from beginning to end without any serious difficulties.

-Conclusion/Finished Product:
This is a good value for a Sofa Sectional. Sure the faux leather is cheaply made, but it looks pretty good and has a nice sheen. Microfiber is pretty decent and the cushions are firm, but not uncomfortably so. It is plenty spacious, can have the lounger on either the left or right side of the couch and it even comes with 2 throw pillows, not bad for 700 bones... Not bad at all.

Update Jan17, 2011:

Couch has begun to show it's cheapness in the cushions. The longer cushion used in the lounging portion (chaise Longue) has begun to show indentations, probably due to the fact that it is the largest and longest of the cushions and people frequently sit on it. (It's been built as a leg rest.)
Was really hoping to get a little more use out of this thing before it started looking like College furniture, so I will be downgrading my rating to a 3 star.

We bought this sectional for a smaller sized living room to replace a love seat and recliner.
The positives:
-- The sectional is a nice size and the color was true to the description.
-- The company was great to work with on the couple minor issues we had with the ottoman cushion.
-- My husband said it was pretty simple to put together.

The negatives:
-- Bottom line - the sofa is uncomfortable to sit on.
-- The back cushions are unevenly stuffed and lumpy.
-- All of the cushions are loose - none are attached to the sofa which makes it all the more uncomfortable and awkward.

I definitely would not buy this sectional again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone who intends on using this for every day use.

I bought this same couch from a different vendor. It seems like a good deal. The couch looks nice and it's comfortable to sit on... at first. This couch does not last. I have buyer's remorse. The cushions are a cheap foam that get mushy and completely misshapen after only a few months. It is no longer comfortable to sit on and I am constantly sliding the cushions back into place and trying to fluff them into shape. This was a seriously bad investment!

The sectional I received was not as pictured. There were a lot of differences in both look and the quality that you would expect. The "faux leather" feels like linoleum you would put on your floor, the cushions have a VERY stiff foam block with no cushioning, the wood used to build the frame was splintered and cracked and you could hear the wood crack the first and only time that we sat on the furniture. I returned the furniture with the help of Amazon after making them aware of what I had received, and although Amazon's customer support has been amazing, it was still the worst experience (due to the seller outside of Amazon, UNITED FURNITURE)I have ever had with an online experience (I once lost $628 on a TV I never received on Ebay and still felt like this was the biggest hassle. The sectional may be different through another seller, but be aware of UNITED FURNITURE as the seller is a rude, Asian man with VERY BROKEN English, no sense of customer service, no business etiquette, and in denial that his product is crap. His excuse is that you get what you pay for and that I should have looked at the product before I purchased it. When I buy online, the only thing I have to go off of is a picture and description and neither was accurate in this case. DO NOT BUY FROM UNITED FURNITURE!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!

this couch was beautiful and worth the money but cushions are very stiff so couch isn't so comfortable

I may be old fashioned but if I am going to spend big bucks for a big item, I really would like to know the size(height,width,length). It really helps to decide if it will fit in my space. Also, pebble or hazelnut? It is really hard to tell whether that is beige with brown tones or pink tones. Get real, be specific!
