this bulb throws a nice SPOT lite for highlighting up a room feature, but cannot illuminate much else. it has a cheap transformer in the base overheats and fails within the first year, and there is no maker or re-seller replacement policy. look for a newer model bulb with cooler CREEs, a larger heat sink, or even a mini fan, as this 2008 technology simply does not hold up to real World use.
