5.0 out of 5 stars Wow, September 14, 2006
This review is from: 4:21: The Day After (Clean) (Audio CD)
I've been a Wu-Tang and Method Man fan for a while and I have to say that this is Method Man's best album yet. EVERY SINGLE TRACK IS PLAYABLE! I never skip a song on this CD. Highly recommended.

3.0 out of 5 stars Better than The Prequel (3 and 1/2 stars), February 28, 2008
This review is from: 4:21: The Day After (Clean) (Audio CD)
Method Man's first album, Tical, was a classic. Judgement Day despite a backlash was a pretty good follow up. The Prequel was straight garbage and made people second guess if Method Man could still do it. Well with this album Method Man sounds a lot better than he did on his third album. Intro starts off with a excerpt of a protest for marijuana and Meth starts spitting. Is It Me, Problem, Somebody Done F***ed Up are Method Man at his best. Fall Out could have been a club banger if it was promoted properly. ODB(RIP) shows up on the dope Dirty Mef. Ya Meen feat Styles P and Fat Joe is tight but it could do without Fat Joe's verse. Walk On feat Redman is dope but Method Man floored Redman on that track(no, really). There are tracks that stop this album from being great. Let's Ride feat Ginuwine and 4 Ever feat Megan Rochell are boring tracks dedicated to that significant other. Konichiwa B*tches had the makings of a banger but the stupid hook kills it. Got To Have It and 4:20 feat Streetlife and Carlton Fisk are super corny. The most embarassing collabo would have to be Presidential MC feat Rza and Raekwon. Method Man held his own on that track but Rza and Raekwon drop the most suspect rhymes of their respectable rap careers on that track. Bottom Line: While this album is flawed its a lot better than his terrible third album. Method Man's flowed a lot better here and the production was better. Standouts: INTRO, PROBLEM, IS IT ME, SOMEBODY DONE F***ED UP, FALL OUT, DIRTY MEF, THE GLIDE, SAY, YA MEEN, WALK ON and EVERYTHING.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Cd, August 11, 2007
This review is from: 4:21: The Day After (Clean) (Audio CD)
This cd is insane. I was never a huge fan of method man outside of wu-tang, but when i heard this cd i was blown away. This cd packs tight beats, mef's insane flow, and great calbo's. You will not be dissappointed in this cd. There is almost no filler, this cd's the best out of all the other cd's from any wu-tang member.
