I purchased this grill for my new outdoor kitchen. When we first fired it up we noticed the temperature knobs got extremely hot when all four burners are on. I continued to cook with the grill on 2 and 3 burners with no knob heat noticeable. We had a small party and a friend was cooking fajita's with all four burners on. When he went to touch the knobs they were so hot he had to get a oven mitt to keep from burning his fingers. I contacted the manufacturer and they said it was a wind issue. I have had numerous grill that cost a lot less that never had this kind of issue. The manufacturer told me that I could purchase a wind guard to hopefully fix the problem. I'm not buying something extra that should already be provided knowing that people will be cooking outside. duh. The other problem I have found is that the splatter tray under the grill fills with water when it rains, never had a grill do that either. I also don't like the temperature gauge that reads, low, medium and high. I know these things aren't normally accurate, but come on man! If I would have known these problems to exist I wouldn't have spend this much money.
