Chronic Future Rocks!,
By A Customer
This review is from: 4 Elements (Audio CD)
I think that this is a really cool cd. I dont agree with some of the other reviewers that say Chronic Future sounds just like 311. I guess they have somewhat similar styles, but I think that it is nice to hear a new band that is not trying to sound like Korn or Limp Bizkit.

The Scottsdale brats are gonna rock the nation with this one,
By Dan Dan Leimone (Phoenix, AZ) - See all my reviews
This review is from: 4 Elements (Audio CD)
About two months ago Ben Collins from Chronic Future messaged me online and asked if I wanted to hear some of his new album. I've been a fan since '97 when they first got local radio airplay here in Phoenix, AZ, so of course I said yes. I ended up downloading the whole album from him, and it's rocked my world. On this CD thier sound has matured, but even more importantly, the trends in music have caught up to where Chronic Future has been musically since thier first CD in 1996. From the sure-fire hit first single Come Correct to the heavy vibes of ? Up and The Majik, to the melodic and infectious Impossible To Win, 4 Elements is quality from start to finish. They effectively mix up thier influences of funk, hip-hop, and most importnatly rock, with the guitars and bass right out in front. The memorable verses, raps, riffs and hooks, along with sing-along choruses on this CD could easily make Chronic Future a household name nationwide by the end of 2000. As I sit here recovering from a stunning live in-store performance to kick off the release of this CD, I'm almost saddened, because I know the days of them tearing it up in the local clubs are very numbered.
