Not a recipe book April 1, 2012
By Selina
Format:Paperback
I'm in complete agreement with Louisa Drolz's review. This book infuriated me. It shouldn't be called a recipe book. It has a "recipe" for profiteroles which says to buy a pack of profiterole mix and follow the instructions on the packet. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? That does not belong in a recipe book. I can't believe this book got published.

Metric system measurements September 28, 2010

All the measurements are in the metric system. Pain to convert for me. Maybe not for you. Good ideas though!

Just ghastly May 16, 2009
Format:Paperback
If you like often tasteless, expensive food of questionable nutritional value then, by all means, buy this book. Many of the recipes contain a packaged convenience food (eg a simmer sauce or similar) and most require several additional ingredients other than the core four to make them edible.

It's a big stretch to call this a cookery book. It's really only of use to those whose knowledge of meal preparation is limited to dialing for a pizza. I just can't imagine who else would find it useful, but clearly people do because the book has been a bestseller. I am baffled as to why.
