Read many reviews of this product prior to purchase. Upon receipt, I connected the switch from two desktops to a 24" Haier HDTV monitor at 1920 x 1080 resolution. using my existing setup that worked fine with a similar switch from a different manufacturer that failed after 3 years. The colors from one desktop were unstable. The permanent fix was to unwrap the offending VGA cable that was coiled tightly and tie-wrapped and route them differently and coil them into bigger circles and tie-wrap them to a bracket. If any of you experienced this problem, re-route the cable and wrap them into bigger circles or replace the offending cable. No need to buy expensive switches at 3-5X the price.

It didn't work for me. I suspect that I should have purchased a powered KVM switch. This unit would not see the USB connections.

This is a good value. The switch works as described and is reasonably easy to set up. I'm using it to share a monitor and mouse between two desktops. I'm also experimenting with sharing a wireless connection. Stay tuned.
