5.0 out of 5 stars an incredible milange of improvisational jazz styles..., April 2, 1999

Ron Blake(tenor sax), Rodney Whitaker(bass), Peter Martin(piano) and Greg Hutchinson(drums) have joined forces to create a hard hitting, soulful union, taking jazz to the next level. For four young musicians, wise beyond their years, they certainly play with the spirit and soul of the jazz legends of yesteryear and today. This is a must listen to, hard to turn off cd. Can't wait for the next project from this group. Hope this is the wave of the future for jazz. They have brought a breath of air to what has become a stifling industry.
