40-30-30 Cookbook from Balance Bar Company,
By Sun Catcher (Fort Myers, FL United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The 40-30-30 Cookbook (Mass Market Paperback)
This is a wonderful cookbook. Though used, it came in very good condition. For those unfamiliar with 40-30-30, it is a nutrition concept that recommends one's calories be balanced with 40% carbohydrates, 30% protein, and 30% fat. There are lots of nice recipes in this book that call for common ingredients---not things that you have to go out searching for. They also tell you what to serve with the recipe and how much to serve per person. There is also nutrition information provided. Great book!

Two Cook or Not to Cook,
By Boris Lord (Moscow, Russia) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The 40-30-30 Cookbook (Mass Market Paperback)
I was once a great, big fatty and now I am an absolute hunk. I ran round the block with the book on my head and then proceeded to bench press it 47 million time. However, I cannot recommend it over the Oxford Dictionary, which is precisely 2 kilos heavier. So, I feel that buying the Oxford Dictionary would better benefit your weight loss regime. (Your pockets will be lighter and your spirit uplifted, God bless America)
