As the Producer for a theatre group in a Florida retirement resort, I have found it difficult to find short skits suitable for a senior audience. The majority of the skits are original material, that I have used over the years. I hope you will find these skits useful in your theatre group

A Big Fish
Characters: Woman sitting at a table very frustrated, man
in fishing attire walks in.
Props: None.
Man: Hi Dear.
Woman: Where have you been?
Man: Fishing.
Woman: Well, l can see that, but why are you so late?
Man: Oh, l can explain that, most Saturday afternoons when
I go fishing, I’ll see several friends and after we
finish fishing we will go for a beer and sometimes it
gets so late and it is so far to drive, that I will
give you a call to say that I am staying with my
friends overnight.
Woman: Well, l can understand that you’ll stay one night,
but it is now five nights in a row.
Man: Well, I'll try next time to come home earlier!
Woman: Yeah,Yeah. That’s what you said last time, by the way
are you catching some nice fish?
Man: Oh, yes, last Saturday I caught a very big one, a real
honey.
Woman: What did you do with it?
Man: Uh, Uh, l threw it back in the water.
Woman: Is that so, well it must have come alive. I just got
a call from honey.
