Sam Brown is relatively unknown female artist outside of the UK, but became known to me on the George Harrison tribute CD. Her dad was a good friend of George and in fact gave the Beatles one of their first gigs. Sam Brown has that British Musician/Artist quality that is hard to describe. Suffice it to say, she rocks with the best of them.

Wow! One of the best kept English secrets. She is huge over there, but hardly anyone knows her here. See her shine on the Tribute to George Harrison concert singing "Horse to Water". If that doesn't convince you to buy some of her albums then too bad for you.
