Unless you are getting this for a kid to play around with then don't bother. I wouldn't even get this for a kid because there are cheap compasses to be found here that actually work and you wouldn't want the child to miss out on a chance to actually learn something. Don't get this. It's not liquid filled and it was a non-working piece of crap right out of the box. It just looks like a piece of cheap trash upon taking out of the packaging.
