Size: 1 Gallon

Power away dirt and grease on contact. Rely on Purple Power for the toughest cleaning jobs. Purple Power Industrial Strength Cleaner/Degreaser works great on a wide variety of surfaces in auto, farm, marine, home and industrial applications. The concentrated formula penetrates quickly and then creates a barrier between the stain and the surface being cleaned. Biodegradable, non-abrasive, non-flammable, and phosphate-free. Directions: Test an out-of-site area to determine surface acceptance and colorfastness to avoid damaging surfaces, especially on aluminum, painted surfaces and fabrics. Wear rubber gloves, protect eyes and skin from direct contact. Use with adequate ventilation. Cover surface with Purple Power, allowing time to dissolve dirt and grease. Do not allow drying on surface being cleaned. Rinse with water. Do not use on exterior car surfaces, glass, painted surfaces, or wheel rims.

Purple power works at least as well, if not maybe a bit better.

It cuts through grease easily, I have even used it on my cooking ware to remove grease and on the hood above my stove, it works easily without a lot of elbow grease.

Great stuff, worked really well in getting all the gunk off of my charcoal grill!

First of all read the label and dilute as it says. Don't use on painted surface, wheel rims et al. Ok, I was confronted with the task of trying to remove years of sticky kitchen grease on my homes draft hood, SS stove, grease covered tiles (alot of tile) and bathroom tile which had dirty grout, not to mention the once sand colored grout that was now black in the kitchen. I mixed up a spray bottle and went to work. Wear gloves because it may dry out your lovely hands. The kitchen grease MELTED OFF like butter and a blow torch! I sponged it off and rinsed. I tested it on grout and yes with a mildly stiff brush CLEANED THAT TOO! My stove looks great also (soak the cast iron stovetop thingys overnight in a bucket of hot water and PP)! No, it didnt get rid of the stains in my plastic bathtub but nothing can other than steel wool or sandpaper/sandblaster/dynamite, but man, I am so impressed with this! I'm a man so I naturally don't want to be seen as a houseywifey clone and this allowed me to to quickly complete my solitary task and return to my natural vegetative, beerbelching, couchsporty pastimes. Thank you Purple Power- Your a real mans cleaner!

Purple Power is a powerful and multifaceted cleaner and degreaser that can be used full strength or diluted, depending on the need, to remove dirt, grease and grime from a variety of surfaces and it is also THE BEST product I have found for removing paint from plastic models (cars, planes, trains, etc.) without damaging/melting the plastic (instructions further in review).

The following is a list of the COMMON USES for Purple Power and the strength/dilution recommended by the manufacturer (FS = full strength; 10:1 = 10 parts water to 1 part Purple Power; 5:1 = 5 parts water to 1 part Purple Power; 15:1 = 15 parts water to 1 part Purple Power):

AUTOMOBILE: Tires (FS), Engines (FS), Underbody (FS), Vinyl seats (10:1), Rubber mats (10:1), Dashboards (10:1), Carpet (10:1), Chrome (15:1)

OUTDOORS: Pressure washing (FS), Concrete (FS), BBQ grills (FS), Lawnmowers (FS), Pool areas (5:1), Tools (5:1), Plastics (10:1), Tile (10:1)

HOME/INDOORS: Showers/tubs (5:1), Appliances (5:1), Laundry pre-soak (5:1), Vinyl & tile floors (10:1), Counter tops (15:1), Sinks (15:1), Linoleum (15:1), Microwaves (15:1)

MARINE: Engines (FS), Algae (5:1), Fiberglass (5:1), Vinyl seats (10:1), Tackle boxes (10:1), Chrome (15:1)

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING PURPLE POWER TO REMOVE PAINT FROM PLASTIC MODELS (cars, planes, trains, etc.): Just place your model in a glass or plastic container (no aluminum, copper, or galvanized containers as Purple Power will react with these metals) large enough that it can be covered with Purple Power and left to soak in it. Enamel paint requires a 1 to 2 day soak and lacquer paint requires a 2 day to one week soak. When removing the models wear latex gloves to protect your skin.

I used this to remove some oil stains from my concrete driveway. Spray it on, rub it in with a brush and rinse about a minute after. Do this two or three times and your stains are gone!

I love this product. It cleans absolutely everything. I have purchased it in the 5 gallon size and use it in the house as well as on my car. It is the only product that I have found to date that cleans the aluminum siding that encases my windows besides numerous other problem spots.

A home we purchased has a large area of wood laminated flooring. It was very dull looking and we later learned it had been waxed. That is a big NO to ever wax a laminate floor. So next, we went to the Laminate manufacture, the flooring stores and looked on line. We tried "Laminator Plus which did work, but a lot of physical scraping to get the built-up wax off. You must use a plastic putty knife or plastic scraper like I got from Home Depot. All that said, it was extremely slow and hard. I even tried vinegar and water and ammonia and water, mineral spirits and even goof-off.

I was very frustrated as this was becoming labor intensive and a time consuming job. Looking for anything that might work, I tried Purple Power. I put it in a spray bottle, opened the windows and doors, had a fan and wore rubber gloves. Guess what? Yep, after spraying a test area, the wax melted of easily as I scraped it!!! I continued and did half the floor in 4 hours... An amazing product if handled properly. Also, make sure you have a warm bucket of water and wash rag to immediately wipe the area you have removed the wax from.

Who Knew? There are no reviews like this on the net, but old American ingenuity finally got me the product that worked and does not harm the Laminated finish. I highly recommend this to anyone with wax on Lamiante flooring....just follow the directions and be careful.

I've been using Purple Power for at least five years and I love the stuff. I just finished my second 2.5-gallon jug and need to buy another. I just noticed that Amazon has it priced the exact same as Walmart.

I use Purple Power primarily for automotive cleaning. I don't waste money buying specialized cleaners for wheels, tires, engines, bug/tar removal, or oil stains on concrete. PP can handle all of these tasks. Typically I pour it into a pump sprayer that I got at my local hardware store, and dilute it with about 2-3 parts water. Spraying it liberally on my wheels, tires, and wheel wells, I will scrub with a brush and hose off with a stream of water (hint: get yourself a Speed Master Wheel Brush to easily clean around wheel spokes). Voila!

Think about the economics of this product. At less than $5/gallon and diluting it with three parts (or more) water, a quart of cleaning solution to clean my wheels/tires costs about 30¢. Look at all the fancy wheel cleaners that cost $5 or more for 24 ounces. Maybe those expensive ones work a little better if you have wheels that are extremely dirty, but I clean my wheels at least once a month and Purple Power gets them spotless no matter how bad they look.
