This is a haunting and beautiful soundtrack that is perhaps best appreciated after seeing the film. As one film critic noted, the composer created a "wonderfully moody and appropriate layer of musical texture" that sustains the suspense and drama, and in my view plays as important a role as the actors and the cinematography. Amazon does not show the track listing so it is shown below.
Tracks 4, 6 are hallucinogenic/whimsical Track 3 is jaunty and Tracks 7 and 9 are much lighter pieces that go along with Meredith's stories The remaining tracks are haunting, minimalistic, moody Tracks 11 and 12 are particularly strong and in my opinion the best on the CD Unfortunately a number of other dark cues from the film are missing 1.
