These GE Reflector Lights provide the right amount of light for my plants. They also help increase the room temperature slightly, which is also good for my plants.

I live in an old farmhouse and it is dark due to the old maples all around. I have a number of these lights in my windows to add light so that I can have some plants in my house. These are great!

It gives alot of light to a corner of my room where i needed it for a plant. Nice accent to the room.

I needed a light for one of my indoor palms that was in a dark corner of the room and was showing signs of having difficulty due to the lack of light. I actually found this light at Walmart for $16.95. It works wonderfully, I have it on the floor but also have the option to hang it on the wall on a picture hook if I choose. Best part is that you can get replacement bulbs at Walmart in the lighting section for around $2-$3. I would recommend this light option for your indoor plants.

This product is perfect: it is adaptable to many ways to set it up, it was inexpensive and the price includes the light bulb! The first one I received did not work at all. When I contacted Geroys, they immediately replaced it. I was surprised at how quickly I received the replacement and did not have to return the broken light!!! That was wonderful! Now my plants have the light they need this winter. I hightly recommend this product.

This is the only plant light I've found that blends in with most interior decorating.

It can sit on the floor pointing up or I have mine hanging on the wall on a picture hook

pointing down on a flowering gardenia!

My fern has thrived on this plant light, but the bulb burned out and I cannot find a replacement bulb. I inherited the fern from a non-plant person (grossly neglectful.) I took over and with the help of the GE lamp, this fern has become a huge octopus! Love it!

Help! Where are the replacement bulbs?

Not too bright, and not a long life. I have been experimenting with various lights as my collection of plants have continued to grow over the years, and this was one of the very first lights I had purchased. It only provided sufficient amount of light for four plants, and burned out 5 months later. So not too impressive considering the price.

I would imagine that if you have a small collection of plants that this light would workout well for you, but knowing how things tend to progress with time, my own personal view on indoor plant lighting would be to buy a descent light from the start. Once you get started on growing plants indoors you tend to bring in more and more plants. It's better to plan ahead instead of experimenting with low cost lighting, that rarely lasts too long.

An investment of $100.00 to $50.00 these days can go a long way considering all the new advancements in energy saving lighting fixtures. It is better to have a light that is high quality, and lasts a long time than to see your plants die, or end up spending more replacing cheap lights.

These low quality lights will eventually be removed from the market, and considering their low prices it would seem likely that the only reason they are still on the market is due to their ridiculously cheap price tag. Affordable LED lights are now every where, with unbelievable life spans that are also easy on the electricity bill. By paying a little extra you save more money in the long run, and everyone benefits from that, including your plants, your bank account, and the environment.

The GE 44848 65 Watt Plant Light works great. The price is also very reasonable compared to other plant lights.
