I purchased this book as a birthday gift for my brother. To our delight both my father's name and plane was included. The author wrote an amazing, well researched, and thought provoking book. It is a true keepsake and I highly recommend it!

The conmpany that I bought this from is great. I thought it was a used book looks brand new to me. My father is on one of the pages on sorties in Europe that why I bought it to look this kind of thing up. I have read some but not all of the book. It tells of the time and feeling of this war and flying over Europe and what was going on. Good Book for WW2 buffs, B-24 Liberator children of the crews. Buy it

I've bought a lot of books, and done a lot of research, trying to find out more information about my father's WWII service as a tail gunner in the 448th. I finally hit the jackpot with this book. Everything I needed to know: crewmember names, aircraft names, aircraft serial numbers, missions, photographs, nose art, bomber paint schemes, was all there in one place. I salute Jeffrey Brett. If you had or have a family member that was in the 448th at Seething AAF, you should absolutely have this book. It really deserves more than just 5 stars. I only wish I could have had this book sooner. This book will become a part of my family history and be just as treasured as any family scrapbook. As a matter of fact, several of the photos in the book ARE in my family scrapbooks!
