About the Author

Angela Peach knew she wanted to be a writer since she was old enough to hold a crayon, but after her English teacher in Middle School lost her 1st attempt at a novel, she shelved the dream for a further 24 years. She grew up on the picturesque Isle of Wight, UK, and spent many a year travelling round clocking up valuable life experiences before finally settling in the beautiful New Forest! --This text refers to the Paperback edition.

If you like pure sci-fi then you really must read this. This book was masterfully executed. I did find some of the phrases and wordings to be a tad foreign (I am an American) but they did not detract from the novel at all. The main character is one of the most interesting character I've read in a long while. I loved this book. My only complaint was that it ended too soon. My compliments to the author. Bravo!

Absolutely great book, the story hooked me in immediately and I couldn't stop turning the pages, the romance was real and believable and the ending was spectacular.

I don't tend to write reviews, but I was so taken with this book that it's hard not to.

I often enjoy trying to figure out the plot twists, and I usually succeed, but I can honestly say that in this one I was completely taken by surprise. I figured it out slowly, carefully, right when it was intended to be figured out, and I can only praise the author for managing to pull such a dramatic turn of events off in such a calm way.

The main character was likeable, complicated and relatable. Her concerns, her development, her feelings and experiences were wonderfully depicted, giving room to show it from both a personal and a professional angle. Her relationships to other characters likewise had a depth to them that made them feel more realistic, even if the intensity for some of it is more than what most experience.

The pacing of the book was also enthralling. It flashes back and forth between the pressure of the present and the curiousity and calm of the past, but never lets go of the sense of urgency and intensity. It was very hard to put down once I'd started.

In short, amazing book, and a great read for anyone who likes sci-fi, murder mysteries and sitting on the edge of their seat.

A really captivating novel almost a hybrid of Red Dwarf meets Alien. I particularly like the format, starting as a newspaper report and then continuing as a diary.

The unexpected and unique ending was extremely well thought out and executed. The last sentence of the novel could have been lifted from a really cheesy sci-fi comic, "but it worked"!!! (11 letters).

This novel keeps you entertained from beginning to end, so, if you are looking for a novel to take you out of this world for a few hours, then you won't be disappointed with 47. Ms Peach has written a really impressive, easy to read yet satisfying and refreshing novel which I for one thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend.

I was given this in return for an honest review by Inked Rainbow Reads.

Realistic story about dual personality. A. Futuristic tale that makes one think of what might happen sometime.
I enjoyed it very much.

This book had some highlights but was a bit weird for me. I also prefer proper long stories and not short stories. I might try another book from this writer just to gie it a fair chance.

I'm not a sci-fi fan so this book didn't speak to me like it might for others. Didn't see the ending coming so that was cool. Overall not bad but not great either. The grammar was odd...I don't know the back and forth in the time line was was weird. The underlying story was good.
