These are standard General Electric 25-watt incandescent "bent tip" bulbs with chandelier bases, no different from the ones you'll find in local grocery and hardware stores. The chandelier bases fit decorative light fixtures (chandeliers and sconces) that are designed to use tiny, narrow, screw-in bases. GE bulbs like these have always performed well in my dining room chandelier fixture, which was purchased in 1987.

When I ordered these bulbs from Amazon (shipped by acehardwareoutlet), "12-pack" meant 12 bulbs (6 cards of 2 bulbs each). The price per bulb, with shipping included, worked out to about $1.50 per bulb. At my grocery store, similar bulbs were available, on a card of four, for about $1.25 per bulb. Obviously it's worth doing some price comparisons before you purchase, even when you're shopping on Amazon.
