LG 47LS4600 model pictures show a LAN port in the rear. If this TV doesn't have smart TV features, then what is the LAN port provided for?

I do not own this tv but the product spec PDF on Amazon shows it to be DLNA compliant so you should be able to stream from a DLNA source on the network. Can anyone who owns this confirm?

Update: I bought this TV and it DOES have DLNA networking capabilities. Worked very well streaming from a 2TB media server.

While not a Smart TV, it is DLNA compliant so you can stream content from any other DLNA device within your home network. I have a NAS w/ all my pics and vids; I can view all this content from on my TV.
