GE 48698 60-Watt Reveal Ceiling Fan Clear A15 Light Bulbs, 2-Pack

These bulbs are marketed for ceiling fans and I've used them for that purpose before but recently I've found another use. I bought these for a vintage light fixture that hangs over my dining table; the pendants have glass shades and these bulbs give off just enough light to highlight the opal nature of the glass. The small size fits perfectly within the shade. They seem almost invisible in the shade so that the fixture remains the feature. Throws a beautifully clear yet warm light; since it is a three way fixture as well, I mixed and mixed both the 40W and 60W bulbs to help create the right amount of light and atmosphere.

Also of note, when used over four months in a ceiling fan that had a considerable bit of vibration to it, they had no issues of burning out or other failures.

Very pleased with this purchase and highly recommended.
