My Toro is over 6 yrs. old. I've had the original blade sharpened 2 yrs. ago but thought I would opt for a new one. Thus, I ordered this one that looked IDENTICAL to the the factory blade. When I rec'd it, it did NOT look like the picture (the one I rec'd was solid at the ends, unlike the picture and my original blade). I did not want to go to the hassle of returning it as it was only $25 (free shipping) so I removed the old blade and attached this one. It was definitely sharp and I could see the grass blades mulched to practically dust! Thus, I would recommend but picture is deceiving vs. what you receive.

These are cheap Arnold blades made to look like Toro blades.
The reason the Toro mulches so well is largely because of the blades.
You can buy a new Toro Atomic blade at HD for less than $18.
So why would you order Arnold crap, pay as much or more, and wait for delivery??

This blade is the bomb! I have used the Oregon Gator blade with much success until recently when I hit some rocks that has washed thus damaging the blade. After seeing the Arnold Extreme blade at Lowes Home Improvement it was apparent that it had three raised fingers on the backside of the blade with more exaggerated angles and edges than either the Toro Atomic or Oregon Gator blades. Contradictory to other posts, both of these blades have far more exaggarted angles and fingers than the Toro Atomic blade (they are also heavier and provide more inertia while mowing). The Arnold blade left NO clippings in mulch mode while cutting fairly high grass and the mower did not strain or bog as had been the case while using the Oregon blade. So far, I am very pleased with the Arnold blade and hope that the quality of the cut lasts well into the summer and beyond.

The blade delivered cuts ok but it's not like the photo or the original Toro equipment.
