Product Description

The Hartford lighting collection (each piece sold individually) features classic styling that will enhance any room. All lamps have weighted Bronze-finished bases for stability and attractive Amber-colored mica shades. The banker's lamp has a convenient tilt adjustable shade so you can direct the light where it's most needed. Requires a 60-watt bulb. The torchiere floor lamp is unique in that it features an adjustable reading light, too. The reading light requires a 60-watt bulb while the floor lamp requires a 150-watt bulb. All light bulbs are sold separately. Easy assembly instructions included.

I ordered this because I needed something to fit with the period pieces in m y home office. I'm very pleased with this. I found it to be well made for the price. I'm sure something more expensive might have had a somewhat cleaner look, (for example, when the light is on you can see the clips that hold the shade) but it's very satisfactory.

The product photo doesn't clearly show that the stand is curved (at first I thought I'd received the wrong item) so I've uploaded a couple images to show different angles.

The lamp I got also included one of those new curly light bulbs.

Absolute piece of junk. Not worth the money. Cheap, no way worth the price. Poor, uneven light. I am returning promptly.

I bought two of these for my living room. They provide a soft glow which is very relaxing. I don't think they are bright enough for reading, but they do what I wanted them to do.
