I ordered this because I needed something to fit with the period pieces in m y home office. I'm very pleased with this. I found it to be well made for the price. I'm sure something more expensive might have had a somewhat cleaner look, (for example, when the light is on you can see the clips that hold the shade) but it's very satisfactory.

The product photo doesn't clearly show that the stand is curved (at first I thought I'd received the wrong item) so I've uploaded a couple images to show different angles.

The lamp I got also included one of those new curly light bulbs.

Absolute piece of junk. Not worth the money. Cheap, no way worth the price. Poor, uneven light. I am returning promptly.

I bought two of these for my living room. They provide a soft glow which is very relaxing. I don't think they are bright enough for reading, but they do what I wanted them to do.

After having ordered this lamp on March 4th, I have yet to receive it. Further, it is no longer on my Amazon orders under my account. I do not think I will buy from this company again.

Received my lamp in a couple of days. Was concerned, as the packaging was a mess! However, the lamp was in good shape and not broken. It is a nice size for my office desk, love the pull chain - much easier to use that a cord switch. Kinda rustic looking. I'm pairing it up with a zebra-print desk chair! So it'll definately be an eclectic look! A nice lamp for the price!

I have this lamp on a night table. It's just the right amount of light when watching tv. However, when I swivel the shade I can read also. The lamp is attractive and well made; it's heavy enough that it doesn't move around when the on/off chain is pulled.
