This filing cabinet is cheap in every way, and much worse than what you should be getting for $50+. Yes, it's much cheaper than some of the $100-200 alternatives that you can find on Amazon - but keep in mind that this filing cabinet is also very, very small.

The instructions are dismal and there is no written text - just visuals, which can be frustrating even to someone very handy. Some of the pre-drilled holes were not pre-drilled. Not everything fit as it should. Some parts were slightly damaged during shipping, but just enough to not warrant sending the thing back.

As of right now, the unit sits crooked enough that the sliding file drawer hits the upper drawer when opening or shutting. This is unbelievably annoying, and there's really not an easy fix. Nothing in the stand itself appears to be crooked; this thing is just designed extremely poorly. I've disassembled it twice and repositioned the tracks, the cabinet, and the drawer - all to no avail. By raising up to the front left corner, I'm able to mostly curb the issue - but wow, the thing is brand new and that shouldn't be the sole solution.

I purchased this because I thought the espresso would match some other furniture that I have. It does match, but at the cost of being a functional tool. I have a feeling this thing is going to be used for a couple months to hold useless papers and other junk, before eventually finding it's way to a trash heap.

I'd skip this one and go with a quality alternative. I wanted something reasonably inexpensive to hold some filed documents and match the rest of my furniture. I guess I did get what I paid for, but had I known about the assembly and quality issues, I probably would have held back.

It was a debate between three or four stars I decided on the four stars becasue of the price of this file cabinet; it should serve my needs well and I couldn't find one cheaper.

It is just as pictured; quality of construction is adaquate for light home use. I would not recommend this for a home office or a small business office; I don't think it would stand up to that kind of use. I will use this at my computer desk to file my mail and other private papers. There is no lock so sensitive papers will stay in my Sentry box. One file drawer is all I need and I like the storage drawer and the work area on top.

The material used is typical for this type product; pressed wood and screws. The casters are plastic but appear sturdy enough to handle this cabinet once it is fully loaded. The drawer handles are plastic but again I think for my use will be okay. The runners and guides for the drawers are minimally adaquate; I think they will stand up to my use but I don't think would stand up to a home office or small business.

This file cabinet was packaged very well; it would take some real abuse in shipping to arrive damaged. All the pieces were numbered and everything called for was there. The instructions left a lot to be desired; it would not take a lot to make them much better; for instance you use the drawer guide in step two of the instructions and there is a small break off piece that is used in step twelve. There is no text just graphic pictures and better pictures would be a lot of help; guessing is very frustrating for a customer. I am not a handy person and I managed to get it together without much proplem; my grandkids maybe heard some words they shouldn't have though.

This product lost part of a star for the drawer hardware and part of a star for the instructions. I did get a product that I think will meet my needs at a very attractive price; I will repeat not for home office or small business. I am glad Amazon offers a range of products; I don't like paying for more than I use.

The cabinet was easy to put together. The bottom drawer does not pull out all the way so accessing files to the rear is a little difficult. Also, it is not very deep so it does not hold many files. It is a nice looking piece but the functionality is limited.

The cabinet was easy enough to put together. However, the bottom drawer tends to stick and seems like it might be coming off the track sometimes when I open it. I love the color, I have other items, a desk and bookcase to match. The item was a little damaged in shipping or packing. The damage was on the back side of the cabinet so it doesn't show.

I purchased this filing cabinet for home use hoping it will organize the few files and documents I have.

The cabinet is well engineered.
Cons:
This cabinet is extremely small and made out of the cheapest materials found on planet earth; the wafer board is so cheap to the point where it will crumble and fall or bulge when tightening the assembly screws. The provided hardware will not sufficiently hold the cabinet together. You would have to use your own wooden screws to make it work. After It was completely assembled, I was so disappointed by how cheap it was and didn't think it will hold together long enough to keep it. So I decided to break it apart and get some good use out of the wafer board by using it as fire starter in my chimney.
This cabinet is a piece of garbage. What a waste...

The Rolling Cart is sturdier than expected and the drawers move easily. It was easy to put together also. I definitely recommend it!

I always thought file cabinets were ugly but I had to resign to the fact that I needed one. I found this one and thought it looked too nice but out of everything I had see I knew I had to have this one. The picture did not lie it's absolutely beautiful and fits in with my living room furniture perfectly and there's plenty of file space.

Pretty solid product, not too bad to put together. One downside is that there's not too much space, its definitely smaller than it seems.
