We live in a Chicago condo with a stackable washer/dryer in a closet. I moved the washer/dryer over to one side and was able to create 13" of space for storage. I finally found his cabinet that was the perfect dimensions. Height was the same as the stackable washer/dryer so it doesn't look odd standing by it. Color matched the white of the washer/dryer and it fit perfectly in the small space leaving plenty of room in front of it for other items. I assembled each half separately and put the bottom half in the space first and finished installing the top half to it inside the space since I wouldn't be able to slide the whole thing in after building it (because of the door frame and the angles of the washer/dryer). It was very easy for me to do this by myself. Really like the storage unit a lot! I wasn't able to affix it to the wall because of piping but we've been using it for a few months now for detergent, tools, , irons, etc and haven't had any problems. The doors are also very easily installed and can be left off if needed (or taken off easily once you've put them in). All in all, this is a great unit for a small space. Very sturdy!

Delivered on time. Fairly easy to assemble for one person but world go much quicker with two. Some minor quality issues, example some edges of melamine chipped that are visible after assembly but not bad. But it's exactly what I needed for my space in small bathroom -as far as I could say there are no other towers this narrow that have doors. Would recommend as long as you know it's not fine furniture. It won't hold big towels or anything like that, its good for small linens and bathroom supplies, toiletries etc.

For what it is, this is a pretty nice cabinet. I shopped for a piece of specific dimensions to fit in a tight space. Purchased from Amazon and shipped quickly from the seller, my initial impression when opening the box was "this is going to be a piece of junk." I decided to go ahead and assemble the cabinet (rather than sending it back) as I have extra space and could always find some place to put it. As the (simple) assembly process progressed, I realized it was going to meet my expectations (except for the stink, more on that in a second). A heavy duty, expensive cabinet it is not. But for the money it looks OK and I think will hold up over time (I will actually use this as a built in piece in an extra bathroom remodel).

But, now I have to mention (as have other reviewers) the smell. Good Grief!!!! This thing stinks to high heaven of an odor which I have never smelt before. I suspect a silicone/epoxy as it has a trace of vinegar (?) in what is an unappealing and STRONG odor. I think it will pass or cure over time, at least I hope it will! The cabinet is, of course, constructed from particle board (you did not expect hardwood for $70 did you?) and I think the stink is from a chemical or binder in the compressed wood particles. It looks good, suits my needs and I'd buy it again, but only assuming the smell goes away.

*****UPDATE: 24 hours later. I originally gave this cabinet "5 Stars" but I am taking 2 of them back due solely to the stink. I have this unit on the second floor of a 2 story house and you can smell the odor of this thing as soon as you walk into the house on the first floor. They sure must use some funky glue in China as the smell is unbelievable.

Nice cabinet, but the odor is terrible. I read other reviews online and found many complaints about the odor. If it doesn't air out ( I don't even want it in the house right now), I will most likely return it, since washing it, spraying it with disinfectant is not taking the odor away.

Looks decent. Relatively easy to assembly. Handles are plastic and feel really cheap, but probably wouldn't be that hard to replace. This is not fine furniture, but does its job without being an eye sore. Easy way to add some additional storage to a small bathroom.

This is a great storage tower. I love the finish on it as I have it in the bathroom and the hairspray tends to collect on my stuff. Seems like it would be easy to wash off. The wood has a little funky smell but over time I hope that this dissipates.

We now own six of these cabinets! We've put them together, then connected three side-by-side with our own tools & supplies, and mounted them to the walls in two locations. Love them! The only downfall is that I'd like one more shelf than they come with, but I still love these.

This fit perfectly into a tiny opening between my oven and kitchen wall in a studio that desperately needed more storage, so that suited my needs nicely. However, putting it together was a pain because the included instructions were worse than Ikea.

Let me give you a few tips so that you won't have to spend as much time decoding them as I did... keep the holes for the door spring hinges facing each other, on the front of the unit, but opposite the magnetic closing mechanism for the doors. It's very difficult to see which way to flip those middle shelves initially, until you orient them against the doors.

Also, don't make the same mistake I did on the small white rectangular piece that covers the bottom front panel, underneath the lower door... This piece gets secured with wooden pegs and glue, but I had already tightened the two side panels, so there was no way to secure this piece... I only managed to get one side of the wooden pegs in. I tried to simply glue the other side but it shifted during installation, so I doubt it stays put if I move the unit.

Also, the backs of the cabinet are thin cardboard that gets secured via a few nails... I made sure to put some of the leftover glue on the backs of the shelves, and then hammer some nails through from the back because otherwise -- if you only secure the nails around the edges -- the backs will bend every time you push against them.

Finally, if you are worried about it toppling over (it's not rickety at all for me), they include some brackets to secure it at the top to a wall... I can't use them because my floor molding keeps it too far away from being flush against the wall, but I am not worried because it doesn't wiggle, surprisingly. The wood panels are nice and heavy, honestly.
