My mother is very hard to shop for on Christmas and birthdays, so I bought this for my 5 yr old to make for Grandma for her upcomimg birthday. My mother has a collection of wind chimes on her back porch, and my daughter has always loved looking and listening to them. My daughter loved the idea of a wind chime SHE made hanging with the rest. She had a great time painting the chimes. I will have to assemble them for her, but, as the package says they are made for children 8 and over. Overall, we were very happy with this purchase. The only draw back is that the chimes are smaller than i thought they would be, each pot only about 3 - 3 1/2 in diameter. However, for a 5 yr old, they were the perfect size.

I bought a classroom set (15) and the kids ages 6-11 really enjoyed painting it; however, when it came time to string everything together, I had to do it for all of them.

I thought that there would be 2 for some reason but there is just 1 in a box. Just alright. Would not get again.

This was a fun little craft. Children paint the pre-made molds and then string it all together. Nothing really spectacular about it but it does make a very nice handmade gift for someone special.

Great Painting Project! My niece is really loving it. She has painted them all and really feels confident in her painting skills. It is fun to see them hanging in the tree outside her bedroom window. Speedy delivery!

I bought this product as a gift exchange for a handicapped girl and she had fun doing it but her mom is not sure if it will last very long. The strings seem cheap but otherwise it was a cool idea and perfect for a project.

I bought this windchime as a Christmas present for my six year old granddaughter so we have yet to open it. But from the box, it is exactly as described. Really cute art project for little ones. Price is right and shipping was quick as always from Amazon :)

We gave this to our granddaughter for her 7th birthday last February. She loved paiinting it and when it was finished, her mother helped her hang it outside near the front door. (The area is a little protected from the elements, but the wind still blows it.) It has been hanging there ever since, taken down only when Hurricane Irene was approaching in August, and then it was re-hung. My granddaughter takes a lot of pride in saying that she made it when anyone comments that it is so cute.

I love windchimes and so does my daughters. My oldest one wanted to make one. Sure I could have gotten a coke bottle and poked holes and tied some strings and found some round metal bars that were small and light, but that would have been ugly. She wanted to make a "pretty" windchime. I found this. She was able to paint it with nice pretty bright colors. I did find that it was a bit hard to do all the string and the windchime does not really make much noise. But she had fun making it and it is very pretty on my back porch. I hope to find more like this but make a bit larger.

My neices loved them. I would definately recommend. They were the favorite gift at the party.
