This CD is absolutely wonderful. Not only are these people true American Heros, they are truly talented singers. The songs on this album are positive and uplifting. Definitely check out "God Bless the Broken Road" and "I'm Already There". I definitely recommend this CD. Its a great reminder that no matter what your feelings towards war are, the people who fight for us are amazing heros. 4TROOPS, thank you so much for protecting our country and spreading this message through your music.

Not sure if I can add much to the other positive reviews. I first heard 4Troops perform before a NASCAR race at Bristol. I was watching the pre-race festivities on tv, and when they started to perform, they stopped me in my tracks.

Not only are their songs patriotic, but they all have excellent voices, and the CD is very professionally produced.

Perhaps my favorite track is "I'm Already There", which, in my opinion, is better than the original Lonestar version.

This is very different than the type of music I typically listen to, though I don't know if there are many other similar CDs. But I highly recommend it.

I tripped across this release just a couple of days ago and then made sure that I bought it on the day of the release. Exceptionally talented singers and some top notch music; this makes for a album that must be listened to (again and again). Each member of the group is allowed to showcase their talent within the songs or for some on individual songs. I am extremely proud of their efforts both for the album, our country and for the charities that are supported by the sales of this album. I certainly hope to hear more from these four individuals both as a group and solo.

So, why the four star instead of a five star rating...it gets five for the talent; but, they modified Toby Keith's "Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue" (I am guessing to make it more politically correct). I'm sure Toby, as the writer, had to sign off on them using the song in its modified form but it does seem like censorship of the original song to me. That's the only reason I downgraded one star for the album as a whole.

This CD is a treat to some really good voices ! I learned of them through my daughter, who works for the USO !
I'm glad to help in a small way to support our troops and to the groups who help support them and their families.

This CD was the best. Their voices are beautiful and the song choices were perfect. And part of the money goes to support vets. Win, win,win!

I have to say just thinking of the sacrifices these American hero's have made brings a tear to my eye, if you are a Patriot like me then have a box of tissue handy. This is very up lifting but at the same time a great reminder of what our men and women who serve our country go through. You should also know that part of the proceeds go to 4 different charitable organization's that support our troops, how great is that? Thank you for your service 4 Troops and all our troops. Just listened to this combat/gospel group on my Laura Ingraham podcast and had to add this puppy to my cart! They not only did several songs on her show, they did quite a long interview. I am impressed with these patriots. There is still hope for this nation, when there are people standing tall for us, such as these. I was quite moved by their "Bless the Broken Road". They also performed "For Freedom" and "I'm Already There". They were great live, in studio. Imagine how they are on a CD!

Can't wait to receive the whole CD. They said they were performing at Yankee Stadium for Memorial Day ('10). DO catch them if you can.

I actually just found out about this cd. I know one of the members, as he is a member of my church and a really great guy. Our pastor mentioned his musical background (keeping his name out of the review for privacy sake), and I decided to look the band up.

I'm glad I did, as this cd is amazing. I knew he was a great singer and guitarist, now I know there's a professional background. I thank all of them for serving our country, and know I'll enjoy this cd very much. God bless all our troops!

Excellent service. I love the songs these soldiers wrote. The words are beautiful. Listen to this often.

This group has such beautiful harmony. Nobody tries to outshine the others and they blend so well. I received this shortly before Christmas, (which is a very emotional time anyway) and played it for the first time at work. Big mistake!! I ended up crying all over myself. Took a bit of a ribbing, but I couldn't turn it off, (like one of the girls suggested). This group touches your heart and reaches into your soul! I will definitely be ordering more of their CDs.
