The 5.11 Back-up Belt System is a unique system which provides secure storage of gear in many compatible garments made by 5.11 Tactical Series. The Cuff Pouch can be used in many 5.11 Tactical Series garments including Jackets, TDU and uniform pants, and vests.  This unique system can be adjusted to fit in an unlimited number of positions and angles for quick access to necessary gear. Made of tough nylon with reinforced backing, the Cuff Pouch can be custom placed to suit your personal needs. It is easy to adjust and always accessible using our trademark Back-up-Belt System. Whether you are carrying the cuffs in the cargo pockets of our TDU pants or the hidden pockets of our Tactical Vest, they’ll be there when you need them. The backing of the pouch includes a stiffener which helps to keeps handcuffs secure even during vigorous activities. The Velcro closures are of the highest quality and can withstand repeated use. The heavy duty nylon materials resist tearing, abrasion and wear and the color will remain fast. This comes in handy when I need to be extra discreet in carrying. I trimmed the excess velcro from this and since I have a Ruger LCR revolver with a 1 and a half inch barrel, it can be slipped into a pants pocket and the gun can be drawn without pulling the holster out of the pocket. Neat.

I wasn't sure this holster would work with my 9mm after i added a laser sight to the rail. after a few snips of thread and a couple safety loops with new thread, it works famously. I couldn't be happier with the purchase. i never have to worry about the firearm tumbling around in my bag thanks to the thumb break strap. great holster for the price.

Love this thing and the way it was designed. I purchased the 5.11 Covrt18 Backpack as an EDC device. And this thing works awesome. I wasn't sure about velcro holding a full size handgun fully loaded with 17 rounds of ammo. But it is strong! And the innovative design for the thumb strap and holster on a backplate is great. You can get a customized fit for your handgun. Currently I am carrying an XDm .40cal works great. and I might have to try a Back up belt system jacket to see how that feels and works out.
