This comes in handy when I need to be extra discreet in carrying. I trimmed the excess velcro from this and since I have a Ruger LCR revolver with a 1 and a half inch barrel, it can be slipped into a pants pocket and the gun can be drawn without pulling the holster out of the pocket. Neat.

I wasn't sure this holster would work with my 9mm after i added a laser sight to the rail. after a few snips of thread and a couple safety loops with new thread, it works famously. I couldn't be happier with the purchase. i never have to worry about the firearm tumbling around in my bag thanks to the thumb break strap. great holster for the price.

Love this thing and the way it was designed. I purchased the 5.11 Covrt18 Backpack as an EDC device. And this thing works awesome. I wasn't sure about velcro holding a full size handgun fully loaded with 17 rounds of ammo. But it is strong! And the innovative design for the thumb strap and holster on a backplate is great. You can get a customized fit for your handgun. Currently I am carrying an XDm .40cal works great. and I might have to try a Back up belt system jacket to see how that feels and works out.

I bought this to go in my 5.11 Rush 10 Mobile Operation Attachment Bag It works great. It was pretty difficult to get it positioned how I wanted it inside the secret concealed carry compartment of my bag. The Velcro is not only strong but plentiful. However once I finally had it seated where I wanted it, I will not have to worry about it getting loose. The best part about this holster is the snapping catch over the back strap. I have never carried my Glock with one in the chamber until now. I am fully confident it will not get loose and roll around my back pack, even if it did, it's in it's own little pocket, so not much to worry about anyway. If you get a 5.11 bag, get this holster. You will not regret it.

Bought this to go with a 5.11 vest and was somewhat dissapointed. I could not get the barrel of my XDm even close to fitting in this holster. I wound up having to cut some of the stitching that holds the two halvs together to make it fit. 1911's and glocks do not fit either. After cutting the threads a bit it works fine but some may not want to have to cut a new holster. I wish 5.11 would mak a larger version of this.

For anyone carrying a Glock 30SF, this is not the holster for you. The muzzle is too big to fit through the opening provided. I suspect this may be the case for other Glocks as well, but I've only tried it with mine.

This is a good all around holster than will fit many smaller frame guns. I ended up sewing mine up to fit my Sig 238 how I wanted it to. Works great. I velcro it to my vest as a BUG and it works good.

I Have a 5.11 Jacket which I use this in. The Velcro Attachment is Very Strong, and multiple weapons of various sizes can fit this holster.
