...but found it was a bit too big for my needs, just one of things that happens when shopping online. To Amazon's credit, it was a cinch to exchange for something else. This bag is well made, has lots of pockets to organize your gear, and is ruggedly handsome. The price is a bargain compared to some of the trendy frufru man bags out there. Pay attention to the dimensions, and you'll not be disapointed

As a carry on luggage, it holds enough space to stuff in the things you need to bring on-board the flight. The front pockets have several dividers to separate items from pens, ipod, mobile phones, keys, and USB cables and chargers. I use it to keep my passport during travel as it provides a quick access. The concealed pockets works great for my needs. Used to keep in important documents or/and some money.

The main compartment can carry a laptop plus some clothing or gear. The webbing adds for flexibility to hook or attached some accessories. Another compartment as the back can handle magazines, newspapers or extra documents. The two side pockets holds my chargers, water bottle.

Best bag I had used during travel.

It also works best for day to day use if you are carrying a lot of items on the way to work and helps you keep them organized

I saw this bag reviewed by Dave Cross, one of the photoshop guys, he was raving about how much he liked it as a carry on. I was in desperate need of a bag I could transport my 15'' laptop, dslr + 2 lenses, accessories, gym clothes (on occasion) and documents to and from work. This bag fits all of my stuff comfortably, with room to spare. The pockets are all well designed, and honestly this is the most functional bag I have ever purchased, and at a great price.

The only things preventing the bag from a 5 star rating are (1) the divider for the main compartment is small, and I wish it came with atleast two; (2) some type of locking mechanism would be great, cuz I use this bag to carry very expensive equipment; (3) the laptop sleeve could be just a tad more padded.

This is a good product. worth it.

UPDATE: This continues to be a great everyday bag, tough and looks great. Just had a zipper broke and called 5.11 Tactical. They are sending me a pre-paid shipping label to mail it back, and will be mailing me a brand new one. That's service, and will get you 5 stars from me!

I got this bag a few weeks ago based on a recommendation on a photo blog to use it as a camera bag. The short answer is it works great.

It's this only thing close to this price point that can hold a laptop and my camera gear. It's built like a tank, the pockets are huge, and it's comfortable to carry.

The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is I had to buy dividers to go in the main compartment. It's built to support them, but doesn't come with any. Kata makes some dividers that worked well: Kata MODI-VERS KIT-20 Soft Divider System (includes 8 X 20 Inch strip with 10 Velcro connectors)

This is the best bag I have ever purchsed. I use this on duty and it functions extremely well. Very durable and organizes all of the things I carry while on duty for easy access. I was very suprised when I recevied it just how good this product really is.
