I've had this watch for at least six years, and a few years back, the analog hands stopped working but the digital display still worked. I thought it was junk, and I tossed it in a desk drawer. I pulled it out tonight, and the digital was dead too. I opened it up to see if replacing the battery would get it all running again. After removing the 2025 battery, I noticed that there was something else underneath it. Under a little round padded sticker, there was another battery, a 364 1.55 v. After removing the padded sticker, i found that the straight screw attached to the hold-down bar was too tiny of a slot for any of my screwdrivers, so I just rotated it around clockwise and under the top plate. Dropped the old battery (it was tight), and I replaced the battery with a new 364. the analog hands started moving again. I simply used a sewing needle to get behind the bar to the left of the screw and rotated the bar back around and over the battery, and I replaced the padded sticker. Installed a new 2025 battery over top of the other battery and replaced that hold-down bar, then the sticker over it. Replaced the cover with the four Phillips screws, and it was good to go once again. It's a good heavy watch that works very well, but you need to know that it's not junk just because the analog hands stop moving.

I bought this watch a few months ago to take with me to Afghanistan, and so far it has been excellent! the backlight is the right brightness, enough to see, not too bright to blind you
Pros
-Two time zones
-Two sets of bands
-Perfect backlight brightness
-Not heavy or bulky

Cons
-kind of expensive, but so far worth it

I would buy this again in a heartbeat, I rely on it every mission here

The main attraction of this watch is that it provides ballistic calculations for precision shooting with a rifle.

I've found it to be quite useful for making bullet drop and windage corrections. The software seems to be comparable to other ballistics software I've used, as the resulting corrections appear consistent with results from other ballistics software programs.

I have two complaints: One is that the analog watch hands tend to obscure the digital read out. When inputting and reading ballistic data, the hands often get in the way. I solve this problem by simply putting the hands in "set" mode, shutting down the hand movement, and leaving them at 3 and 9 o-clock positions, so they are out of the way. When I'm done shooting, I reset the hands using the digital time read out (the 2nd time zone reading.) Only problem with this is that the watch is not waterproof when in set mode (because the crown is unscrewed.)

The other complaint is smaller, and that is that the input options for the balistics data is not as precise as it could be. Temperatures are entered in 10 degree increments, altitude in 100 foot increments, etc. It probably doesn't make that much of a difference, as my inability to shoot straight introduces a greater level of error into the system than does the rounding effect of the input data, but still, it would be nice to have more precise increments of data.

Haven't had the watch long enough to comment on long term durability, but it's held up fine so far.

I bought this watch for my Brother who is a part of our military service. Where he has the 5.11 Tactical Watch for his particular job, but could not wear this watch in the civilian areas in regards business trips. So I found this watch on Amazon and instantly purchased it, knowing that this is exactly what he would love since he is already comfortable with the original watch. He loves it saying that "he can wear this watch anywhere including his Class A `s". The other soldiers in his unit were jealous.

I have owned this watch for 4 or 5 years now. It keeps time but as a ballistic calculator it is a tad over rated. The solution will get you on target, but it is slow to enter the variables. There are 2 batteries inside the case. A 2025 battery for the digital half and a 364 battery for the analog movement. Replacing them is a pain, but do-able. The band on the watch is ok, but I am searching for a different band option.

This watch is an amazing watch. Looks great both as a fashion watch and as tactical equipment. Works perfectly. Only downfall (manufacturers blunder) is it doesn't have a compass. There is another all black model unlike this one but same company which has all this watch's specs and a compass, but i initially didn't buy it because i have a Suunto all black watch with all the same specs and compass minus the ballistic calculator and i like the titanium watch. If you need a compass, which is very accurate and adjustable to different areas of the world, then get the other model. If no compass needed, i recommend this one. Looks amazing. Very tough and light weight. Comes with s cool soft case booklet allen wrench and two straps, black leather and black leather. Overall friggin awesome!!
