my little ballerina loves this doll. she takes this & my little pony everywhere w/ her. i glad it was brought back i loved these toys as a child. it's great that my daughter is growing up w/ the same toys i did. now they can hold a specail in both our hearts.

for all who are having a hard time accepting the new strawberry dolls, i felt the same way at first but they do grow on you! they are innocent fun, and fill the gap between baby dolls and barbie. they are cute and have on the kind of clothes little girls wear these days. they smell yummy and can try on each others outfits. slightly overpriced (i say that because i think you need to buy 2 dolls to play together) worth it for the fun i'm sure. i plan to introduce them to my berry sweet girl on her 3rd birthday, thats six months away, i can hardly wait!

it is a great toy, and even though I'm 11 I love it. Its fun to dress up, and I can always have fun making her dance.

This was the first new release SSC doll my just three year old daughter recieved. The slightly flexible arms and legs make for easier changing of clothes. The clothes are well made and fit well, velcro closures. Adorable ballerina shoes!!!! The strawberry scent is pleasant, like real strawberries, but faint. I would have liked it to be stronger. My daughter loves the cat and brush that come with the dolls. Hat fits well and is easy to put on, doesn't fall off in play. I like this doll much more than I thought I would. It is hard when something you loved as a child gets changed but give these dolls a chance, they will grow on you!!

I HAD THE WHOLE COLLECTION OF THESE DOLLS AS A CHILD IN THE 80'S. THEY WERE MY FAVORITES! I GAVE THEM AWAY WHEN I WAS ABOUT 13 THINKING I WAS TOO GROWN TO HAVE THEM IN SIGHT. THEN OF COURSE AS I GOT OLDER I REGRETTED IT. SHE SOLD THEM AT A GARAGE SALE. I SEARCHED FOR SO LONG! I THOUGHT I'D NEVER BE ABLE TO HAVE THEM AGAIN. I AM SO EXCITED AND SO HAPPY TO HAVE THEM AGAIN AND TO BE ABLE TO INTRODUCE MY LITTLE GIRL TO THEM I WON'T GET RID OF THEM THIS TIME! THEY ARE SO LOVABLE! MY 4 YEAR OLD IS HAVING A BALL PLAYING WITH THEM!

years old and my mom has the frist starberry shortcake and she always wanted orange bloosom. Now I can get Ballerina and Custrard and my mom can get orange bloosom .
And if you didn't get to collect the frist there always the second they have a lot more stuff and have better outfits I LOVE THEM!!! I'm gona try to get them all and if not maybe the 3rd

Although the clothes have changed the dolls are still cute. I fell in love all over again and ordered every doll. I can't wait to add Huckleberry Pie and Blueberry Muffin to my collection. I recommend Strawberry Shortcake to everyone no matter what age. I'm so happy my daughter is able to enjoy her as much as I did when I was little.

Yay !! I just got this one just now in the mail !!!! And then I have to say something....if you are all thinking...There are too many 'Strawberry Shortcake'dolls coming out !!! why do I need so many of her !!" Well I tell you...they all have different faces + hair styles !!!! Birthday party shows her tongue + has a wink.....Strawberry w/ Apple Dumplin Just has a closed mouth smile...and now Ballerina has and open mouth teeth + tongue smile !!!! So you really ARE always getting a new doll....also the pets have different poses each time to !!!!! Yay !!! Get them all if you can ^_^

Children of the 80's rejoice! These Strawberry Shortcake Dolls are totally awesome and TTHHEEIIRR BBAACCKK!!!! and boy, do they make me feel old....These dolls were my favorite in the 80's and I can't believe they re-released these dolls (new company though). They are just as cute as the originals (their clothes are better now) and smell just as sweet...If your a product of the 80's (and you know who you are) Buy these ASAP......

Stuck in a 80's TimeWarp

I absolutely loved Strawberry Shortcake when I was a kid. At first I was so happy to see her come back after all these years until I got an upclose look at some freaky anorexic elf like doll in flare jeans. Strawberry Shortcake is a sweet faced girl that is dressed like a little girl not a teenager. I wanted my daughter to be able to meet and fall in love with such a lovable character that I adored. Unfortunately they have managed to turn her in to a freak. I think they made a mistake changing her because they just turned away all the people who saw a piece of their childhood and want to share it with their kids. Its very disapointing!
