I love Strawberry Shortcake, and have enjoying it for 20 years since I was a young girl. I was so excited they re-released it and could not wait to buy it. I just received this new doll and - it's great!!! A+++++++

My 4 year old received this set for her birthday - she loves it. She loves the little accessories she got with it (she loves giving Strawberry Shortcake birthday parties) and likes to fact she has some additional clothes.

As a parent I can say that they smell as good as i remember from when I was a girl.

My daughter, 5, got this for christmas. She loves the strawberry shortcake line. And with all the clothes with it, she loves to dress her doll up. The scent she loves as well! Haven't had any long enough yet though to see if the scent stays as long as the older ones had.

I am so glad they brought these dolls back. I loved them and now my daughter can love them. This is cute with a birthday cake and a Birthday "outfit". Smeels like strawberries!!!!

I am a child of the 80s not some 19 year old punk raver who knows of Strawberry Shortcake because they sell shoelaces and T-Shirts at [another retailer]. Nothing against the younger gen-Xers... I love the place. I grew up flooded in Strawberry Shortcake and to this day I LOVE the gal. When I heard the dolls would be released by Bandai I was a bit skeptical. The new Strawberry Shortcake dolls are NOTHING like the one I remember and still own. The folks at Bandai changed the dolls considerably and the new look takes some time to get used to. BUT, all in all I do like these dolls. They are trendy but retain their innocence, a far cry from Barbie. I decided to put the doll to the test and handed it over to my three year old who is loving it to death. I love all of the details on this doll. I can't wait to see what Bandai comes out with next. Is it just me though or do the new dolls not smell as good as the original??

I'm so glad my daughter can enjoy some of the same toys I had when I was younger.(just a bit updated, her new clothes are adorable!)
She is one of the few toys my daughter owns that's fun to play with and no batteries required....just her own imagination!!
Someone recently told me that the classic toys were making a come back. Let's hope it's true!

I am overjoyed that Strawberry Shortcake is reissued. I grew up with Strawberry Shortcake; I was in kindergarten when she deduted in '79-'80. I was saddened that she was discontinued later on as I got older. She was a huge part of my life and characters these days lack morals, virtues and values like Strawberry possessed. I have a step-niece and it has been my dream to introduce her and have her grow up with Strawberry Shortcake in her life and now I am living the dream!!! She loves looking at the website...and playing with these dolls. These dolls are every girl's dream. Besides that they smell so sweet!!! Like John Denver sings, "(they) fill up my senses..." Parents, get Strawberry Shortcake for your kids!! You won't regret it. Please support this character!!

I was a little bothered at first by how much they had changed the look and clothing of strawberry shortcake and her friends, but she is still very adorable and fun for little girls just as they were before. i'm really glad they came out w/ more. i can't wait to "collect them all!" hopefully amazon w/ carry the other new strawberry shortcake collectables!

This new release Strawberry Shortcake really grows on you! At first I wasn't pleased that she didn't smell as strongly as my childhood doll and I didn't like the look of her skinny arms and legs. Her arms and legs are a bit flexible though which makes her much easier to dress than the dolls of yesteryear. Each doll has adorable underwear on underneath her well made clothes, not just panties but t-shirt with a cute little icon on it (gingerbread for Gingersnap, strawberry for SSC ect.) This attention to detail is winning me over. The shoes fit well and have the cutest details, little strawberries on her party pink shoes. The candle comes out of the cake. The little pink bear (with a strawberry on his neck ribbon) fits easily into the present box and the lid opens and shuts with ease. My daughter recieved this for her 3rd birthday and she plays with it daily. She has a few of the other new release dolls as well and she loves to brush their hair and swap their hats back and forth. Buy one for your daughter and one for yourself!!!!

I collect dolls and hace been a fan of SS since they were first released in the 80's. The new releases are adorable!!
