5.0 out of 5 stars Great phone!
I bought the answering machine with two handsets and needed a third. Clear sound, good range, especially good volume control, no static. I've had several different brands, and Motorola is the best! I highly recommend it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Bad buttons
I have four of these handsets, and two of them have many buttons you have to really mash to get them to work. I would not recommend them. Perhaps latter versions have fixed this issue. If it were not for the bad buttons, this would be an excellent phone.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect addition, December 3, 2007

My husband and I love the phone, so much so that we purchased another one for our newly finished garage. Good clean sound and works well. Never had a poblem with them, so when we needed another extension for my husbands garage - the choice was easy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Outstanding cordless phone, October 18, 2007

This phone has lots of features but they are easy to use. Even my spouse, who is not thrilled with technology, likes this phone, which is why I ordered a fourth one to add to our existing three. We wanted one in the garage also and it has sufficient range to work as well as the corded one that was there before. Overall, a great value.

1.0 out of 5 stars Motorola E51 MD7151: Big mistake/disappointment- bad quality keypad, December 27, 2009
This review is from: 5.8 GHz Expansion Handset for the MD7100 Series (Electronics)
Motorola E51 MD7151 review: Redial is annoying because it will give you the last numbers you dialed but while pressing the redial button it will repeat the same exact number each time if it was dialed repeatedly before, instead of giving different phone numbers that were dialed. So if I dialed my cousin the last four times and my uncle before that, pressing redial each time will show only my cousin's number each time due to lack of memory to hold enough dialed numbers and stupid programming/engineering. Neither the phone book, redial, or phone number address labels hold enough numbers/characters. Because of this you must over-abbreviate names while storing them in the phone book.
This phone is not worth the money. My E51 still works except for the keypad which is almost useless. This is my main issue and why I really hate this E51 phone. You must press really hard on the keys to get them to work and I'm surprised how fast the keypad wore out. Some numbers just don't work anymore such as the 8 key which is the worst. I can't find any online site that can sell me a new keypad. I've decided to throw the phone in the garbage and rescind any efforts to save money or prevent the wastefulness in which Mother Earth is destroyed to make garbage products like this Motorola jewel, that just don't last like they should. Here I go! I opened my garbage can, aimed, and threw. Did I make it in? I'll never buy another Motorola house phone. Ever. The Motorola E51 MD7151 and all related products are junk with bad keypads and poor features.
Gee, you know I forgot to mention I got a big headache programming the answer machine. I think you get the point.

Great phone, good distance, excellent voice quality. The only problem is the buttons seem to have "worn out".

I had to replace 2 of my extentions because the keypads wore out. I love this phone. It's well worth the money. I'm sorry Motorolla has decided to manufacture only cell phones.

We have had 2 of these phones for a while now. They have always been great. Good sound quality, even when using the speaker. So naturally, when we needed a new answering machine, I got the motorola system that connects to my existing phones. I only just received it today, and can't wait to get started using it!! I'm sure it will be just as wonderful as the single phones.
