I read the reviews and they really bashed the seller, My wife wanted one so I went ahead and placed the order because there was good feed back. I was pleased the box was in good shape and it went together easy. My wife will give you a 5 star rating I gave a 4 because the assembly instructions were not found when I opened the box. She later found them under a flap. Hey there are always going to be haters,make your own decisions and don't worry about it. We are pleased and its illuminated all the time. Thanks.

I ordered the palm tree on 25 June and the box was thrown on my front door step on 1 July. Half the box wasn't sealed/taped. I then assembled the thing and plugged it in. NOT A SINGLE LIGHT WORKED! Of course the instructions said to inspect for light bulb damage which I found none. I tried plugging in just the bottom no lights, just the top, no lights! I pulled out my meter and I had power at the top and bottom of the tree. Just no lights. Then I called the return number of course the instructions had you call the manufacturer help desk and not the dealer you purchased the item from. I had to wait 15 minutes before talking to a representative. When I finally spoke with a representative I had to FAX my amazon receipt - of course we all have fax machines RIGHT! Then the company will get back to me within 24 hours. My gut feeling is that someone pulled this thing off the floor, didn't test anything to see if it worked and shipped it. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

This lighted palm tree is so cute! We put it on our 3-seasons room for the Christmas holiday, and have decided to keep it up year round. We live in North Carolina, and this tree goes well with our wicker porch furniture. Now all I need is a pink flamingo to go with it (maybe that's going too far.)

I use it for a nightlight in an 8 year olds' room; set on a timer to shut off after he's asleep. Works great!

This makes a very unique Christmas tree for our kitchen! It is the perfect height, and the branches, with just enough lights, are like that of a regular artificial green tree! We are surprising our son this year who took a job in California last year, and wasn't home for the holidays then. When he is ready to move back to the Midwest, as is his goal, this tree will be his to keep for a remembrance of the real palm trees that surround him on a daily basis. This 5 ft. Lighted Palm tree is exactly what the description states, and even prettier than the picture shows! Thanks to whoever came up with this unique idea!

I love this tree. I decorate this tree for every season. I decorated this tree for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Mardi Gras, Easter and Summer. I keep colored balls on it year round. I just take off the ornaments and replace them with items appropriate for the season. Friends send me different things for my tree. It provides great lighting in the corner of my living room.

I live in Hawaii so it is the perfect tree for me. It was a great price.

the palm tree was delivered in less than 1 week after it was ordered - easy to assemble and is perfect for my Florida room! It is highly recommended!

I'm still waiting to hear back from the seller. It is a very cute palm tree, but the lights on the leaves do not light up when I plug them into the trunk lights. It arrived in a plain brown shipping box, so I'm hoping it is new. If the seller takes care of everything, I will be able to give a better review, but it has been four days and two e-mails and I haven't heard back, so we will see!

We bought one of these trees from Kmart in 2007. It was purchased to light up a corner of our seasonally used California house patio outdoors. I remember that the box that the tree came in was thin but it was not the box that we wanted... it was the tree! We had the tree free-standing outside for a long time with no problems except an occasional wind gust knocking it over. The first year we used it we even had Christmas decorations hanging from it. The tree has since been placed in a large pot with rocks added over its base to keep it from blowing over and it still continues to glow its little heart out adding nice ambient light to our patio and smiles to our time while soaking up some r and r. Highly recommend it.

bought one last year for myself - sister liked it so much I bought her one this christmas - she loved it !!
