I'm not a "morning person". I tolerate the pre-noon hours in much the same way Superman would endure a kryptonite G-string -- with lots of fidgeting and sweating and complaining about the enormous pain in the butt it's causing.

But some days, I have to "rise and whine", whether I like it or not. For those mornings, I need a boost to get up and at 'em. Or up and near 'em. Up and not drooling on 'em, at least. I'll take what I can get.

I've always heard good things about these 5-hour energy pills, and extra-strength is _always_ better, so I bought some to help shake the cobwebs after waking up early.

I popped the cap on one, slugged it down, and... OHMYGOD I CAN TOTALLY FEEL THE BLOOD IN MY FINGERS, ONLY IS IT ME FEELING THE BLOOD OR THE BLOOD FEELING ME? OH WOW THAT'S DEEP, IF ALL THE PENS WOULD STOP VIBRATING OFF THE DESK I WOULD TOTALLY WRITE THAT DOWN.

WAS THAT ROD SERLING I JUST SAW? WAIT, NO. JUST A PAPER CLIP. BUT THAT PAPER CLIP TOTALLY LOOKED LIKE ROD SERLING FOR A SECOND. FROM MY ANGLE. AND WITH THE SEIZING, IT WAS THE SPITTING IMAGE, I SWEAR. ROD SERLING OR ROSIE O'DONNELL, ONE OR THE OTHER. YOU COULD LOOK IT UP.

DOES ANYBODY TASTE PURPLE? IT TASTES LIKE PURPLE IN HERE ALL OF A SUDDEN. ROD, PURPLE? NO? MAYBE JUST ME, THEN.

MAN, I SURE CAN'T WAIT UNTIL THIS ENERGY DRINK KICKS IN. YOWZA.

Ordered 2 boxes of the 24 bottle 5hr energy extra strength. Received 2 boxes of only 12 bottles. Have contacted seller. Waiting for refund in the difference in price or for them to send me 2 more boxes of 12 bottles to complete my original order. Will post again if/when this gets resolved

I love the energy I get from these-it doesnt make your heart race like most energy products and it is only 4 calories--I have been able to lift more weights since I started using these

This was a fantastic deal. The Average price per bottle (including my free shipping option) came out to about $1.75; compared to $2.50 in stores. The shipping was fast; probably due in part to the Christmas season. And they have proven to be a much more effective tool over traditional coffee when it came to "crunch time" for finals! Oh, and no crash. However, with extreme use (as in my studying for finals example) there is a possibility of getting a headache; but I suppose that could also be attributed to only sleeping 3 hours a night =). All in all, it is reasonably priced, very effective, and a great alternative to coffee.

It was a good transaction. I will likely buy again. Since this review must be at least 25 words, I'll stop now.

I love 5-hour energy shots and the extra strength really does make a difference. I only use this when I work a 12 hours night shift and it really does help me through. One does the trick for me and I take it half way through my shift. It doesn't cause me to be shaky at all.

I adore this stuff. If I could, I'd set up a recurring order. I'll have to look into it. Get the Extra Strength version and have half in the morning, and half just after lunch. It'll carry you through the day just as advertised, and for a fraction of the cost of the amount of coffee your office mates are chugging.

I dont know who figured out the math of .86 an oz, but my calculations are $1.14 an oz.
This stuff is great. I think they raised the price and forgot to change the per oz price.
Is it worth the extra $15 per 24 bottles? You will have to decide yourself.
Me, I think another 8 bottles is better :)

I swear by 5-Hour Energy. It does as advertised, and is great for getting through the afternoon at work, or getting it together early in the morning for a presentation or meeting. It's also effective when studying or working on schoolwork as well. Often times I feel I pay more attention and participate much more in class and at work with the help of 5-Hour Energy. Some people my not experience the same benefits, but everyone that I've referred 5-Hour Energy to has enjoyed it greatly.

I like 5 hr energy due to its low sugar content and high B vitamins and no crash! Its better for you than soda or coffee in the afternoon and I also use it pre-exercise and i can definitely tell the difference.
