After reading Super Hero Squad and various DC Comics kids stories I have found this to be the best book for kids 3-10. The stories are quick, they are exciting, the plot flows well, and the art is appealing. Some of the DC and Super Hero Squad stories I've read are such garbage in regards to plot. Plus this has a good variety of Marvel characters. Spiderman, Ironman, Hulk, Avengers, Xmen, Capt. America all with their own unique stories This would work great as a gift also.

These are good stories for superhero loving kids, but they run a bit longer than 5 minutes. My only complaint is that the Amazing Spider Man stories are the same as in the Spiderman compilation book, but since they gave them different titles in this book, I did not realize it. So several stories were not new to us.

I got this book for my son to continue his education in the comic book characters he enjoys so much. They are perfect for exposing him to the different superheroes and teaching him some of the moral lessons contained within them.

I think the stories are a little too involved for my 4 yr old. He seems to like super heros, but the words are too advanced and too long on each page (if that makes sense). When I read it to him, he starts to play around and do other stuff, like he's not listening. Maybe he'll like it eventually. The illustrations are nice and there are alot of stories, so I will keep trying :)

My best friend's son got this book for his 9th birhday just as my son was getting into marvel characters. So my son had to have it too. The book is fun and the vocabulary is developmentally appropriate for the suggested ages. As (what I am finding) is the norm, it's a little spider-man and iron man heavy, but all the major characters get al least two stories. Overall, the book is in the daily rotation, but not a cant live without favorite. But my son is three. My friend's son reads his all the time.

These five-minute books are great and contain multiple stories that actually do take five minutes to read, give or take a minute or two. Unless you're reading under the influence of potent medication that is. The drawings accompanying each story are well conceived and the stories themselves aren't overly violent or anything. They simply read like kid friendly side stories based on the Marvel characters we all grew up with ourselves. The book is sturdy and can withstand a fair amount of abuse. Simply put, this is perfect for a quick read before bedtime and is easy for your children to follow along as you do so. Recommended.

My son fell in love with this book while visiting cousins so I ordered it before returning home. The stories are perfect length. This one will last.

My daughter is 7 and loves these stories. I only gave it 4 out of 5 because I do feel that rating it 3 and up was not good given some of the words in the stories. The words are more advanced for 3 year old children to handle unless they are great readers at the age. The pictures are very colorful and capture my daughter's attention. Some might take longer than 5 minutes but that doesn't bother me.

Super-fun and perfect length for bedtime stories for my 6 & 8 year olds. Great graphics, concise, not that-singly long and as a mom who doesn't know much about super heroes, it actually introduced me to them so I can talk to my kids about their favorite characters (: well done.

We bought this book as a birthday gift for my son's 7 year old friend that loves superheroes. My tried to six year old read some of it before it was wrapped. Some of the words were a bit of an effort for him to read. It's not written for very young readers. So we alternated reading paragraphs-- and that kept him engaged. He liked the stories. I would be this book for him.
