This BLACK color complete TKO101 Junior drum set is sized just right for the young student drummer. Its durable quality will hold up under hard playing. Features fully tunable top and bottom heads, real wood shells & chrome plated metal hardware! The snare drum (10") and adjustible angle small toms (8" & 10") have 4 lugs each. The floor tom (13") and bass drum (16") have 12 lugs each. Attractive color-matched inlaid rims on the bass drum give this drum set a pro-like "look". Includes: bass mounted cymbal holder, snare drum stand, and drum stool (all adjustable height), spring-loaded bass drum pedal, 10" brass ride cymbal, hi-hat stand with a pair of 8" brass hi-hat cymbals, drum sticks and tuning key. Recommended for ages 3 to 7 and smaller 8 year olds. Makes a wonderful music gift for kids! Replacement parts are also available. Some assembly is needed for this drum set. It is a wonderful set for kids but the directions are written for professional musicians with one glaring oversight which is that the directions describe how to assemble each piece but not how to connect the entire set together. My suggestion is to print out the photo and use that as your guide instead of using the one page of directions...you will get to sleep a lot sooner. Otherwise, our 4 year old loves it. Also, search ear plugs and purchase those as well.
