I received this knife set as a Christmas present, after just breaking up with my boyfriend, "the ex" was the perfect gift! You would think that this funny design wouldn't have great knives, but the knives are very solid one piece and very sharp. The Ex is magnetic so the knives slide in easily and are not loose at all. They stay in place and have plastic guards on the other side so you don't accidently cut yourself. When you see the image, you also don't really realize how big this set is, which can be good or bad depending on how much space you have in your kitchen. I love mine, it's bright pink and sticks out. Whenever people come over they always comment on it and everyone loves it.
One thing I have to say is that these knives will rust if not taken care of properly. After washing, just wipe them dry really quick with a towel and it's done, not a big deal. I read another review saying they werent diswasher safe, but I dont see why not as long as you dont leave them in the damp diswasher after. Just take them out wipe them off and stick them back in the guy! Love this set, much more fun than the tradition knife block!
