My warranty coverage was E-mailed to me within a couple of days, then mailed to me a week or so later. Hopefully I won't need to use it, but they did respond quickly with my coverage papers. I purchased the plan about a month after I purchased the TV. Highly recommended as it is MUCH less expensive than the big box store warranties, especially when it's something you don't know if you'll ever even use.

Can't beat the price for a 5-year warranty. Brought a DPL in 2004 with a 4-year warranty for $400 (not an LG). Used the warranty after 3-years. Another four and a half years the TV gave out. Replaced that TV with a new LG 55 inch. This is a great price for a 5-year warranty (hope I don't need it).

Price and coverage is unbelievable. Takes the worry away for an exceptional 3D monitor. Would definitely recommend purchasing this extended warranty.

I have rated at 5 stars based on the price. The actual service/warranty/coverage has yet to been seen as I have not had any reason to use it. I will say that when I was looking at various deals for my LG 55LW5600 (of coarse Amazon was the best) I compared extended coverage costs as well. This LG "premium" coverage was $179.99 for 5 years. B Buy wanted $369.99 for 4 years. Cant be that. But again, warranties are only as good as the actual service when needed. Hope I dont ever need it.Update: I received my service contract and just FYI......it is 5 years from point of sale. Not 5 years "Extended" from the 1 year manufacturer warranty. My sales person was incorrect with this so I will be calling him just to clarify. If I understand correctly, this coverage is actually better (covers more) than the standard manufacturer coverage anyway.

I purchased this coverage only about a month ago when I bought a new 3D TV. The five star rating I gave it is based on the cost and concept - 5 years of insurance at a cost that would be recovered by only one use of the service. Now, if I have to use that service (and I hope I don't) and the service turns out to be not good, then the star rating would be much lower. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

It's a warranty at a fair price. I hope I never have to use it! It actually arrived before the TV. That was pretty great.

Loving this LG 3d tv so far... I'm glad I went with the 6500 for the 240hz. The picture is nice and crisp, everything from HD movies on HBO/whatever to video games on Xbox 360 and PS3 look awesome! Dark scenes are nice and clear, too. DirecTV has 3 free 3d channels and 1 3d PPV channel, and while there isn't much content to the free channels (mostly nature shows), they look great! Sports are perfect for it... I can't wait for the 2012 Olympics in 3d! I've also played Call of Duty Black Ops in 3d, and it's a completely different experience that takes some getting used to, but is a LOT of fun - but I'll probably stick to 2d for online multiplayer. The smart TV features are nice, we've watched a bunch of Mad Men thru Netflix. Sound quality isn't great, but doesn't suck either. I supplemented with a Sony 3d Sound Bar that plays nice with the LG tv most times, altho a select few shows seem to be out of sync by a few frames. Am VERY happy with my purchase, especially at the price I got!The only negative is that I haven't received paperwork for the Warranty extension I also purchased off Amazon, but I've also been a little lazy and haven't followed up on it yet (but will be doing so tomorrow). For the price, it seems like a great 5 year guarantee. ****edit****** I wrote this for the TV and accidently posted it on here for the warranty. I'm sure the warranty will be fine once i get the paperwork.

On 9/20/2011, I bought the 5-year warranty (at the same time I bought an LG 47LW6500 TV). In 2/2012 I called the warranty company, because I was having a pixelation problem on my TV. The warranty company answered the phone immediately. The warranty company determined that my TV was within the manufacturer's 1-year warranty period, and transferred me to the manufacturer's tech support (LG tech support). I did not have to call LG myself. LG tech support answered the phone immediately/ LG tech support determined that the problem was with my Verizon FIOS provider. When I called Verizon, Verizon agreed and fixed the problem by replacing some of its hardware. The warranty company didn't actually do anything other than answer the phone quickly and transfer me to LG quickly, but that is all it had to do. For now, I'm giving it 5 stars.
