LG Premium Care Plan,

Fortunately we have not had to used this service coverage but we bought an LG TV previously to our current one and it burned up in two weeks. An LG technician came out right away, took it apart and replaced everything a few days later. He seemed very knowledgeable and had no reason to recommend a service plan. He said that unlike TV's in the past that usually far out-lived the one-year warranty, these new TV's often have problems within three years and replacement parts are so expensive that one might as well buy a new TV. If the TV goes out, that means its 'brains' are gone and they don't just replace one little part, they have to replace the entire very expensive brains, which is what they did with our first LG TV. After it was repaired under warranty we returned it to Walmart and bought a different model LG TV from Amazon.com. So on the advise of the LG technician we decided this Service Coverage was well worth any possible fret and worry in the future.Con: While we have this service plan and did all the required registering we still keep getting emails from LG telling us we need to buy their Service Coverage - what is with that? I emailed telling them we already had their plan but no response. I call that poor Customer Service, so hope if we ever need service the response will recognize us as a 'paid' customer. :(

Received the pdf file as stated. In the time stated. Do not know how good it is as I have never used it and hope I don't have to.
