4.0 out of 5 stars Kylie's PWL history (50 tracks plus one new remix)
This album features (almost) every Kylie track from her PWL era. The only one missing is "We Know The Meaning Of Love". Each song is remixed into a one minute (or so) version. Even the album tracks were remixed. It's propably the best album for a Kylie beginner...

3.0 out of 5 stars Just Kylie says, "It's BAD"
Just Kylie did a interview in UK and said the most disapointed CD is this one, The first 5-6 songs still can say ok on the mixing, but after song 7, all song are just cut out and without remixes, Songs without the whole sprint inside. I surly love Kylie and having photos with her when she is in HK. But very sorry, this is the wrost Kylie CD for my own serious.

5.0 out of 5 stars Kylie's album, November 18, 2001

I think that this is a really good album. I enjoy listing to it.
This would be a really good album for people to get some idea of what Kylie's music is like. Then they can decide on what other albums to get from her. I have been a fan since when she was out in the 80's. Hopefully someday she could have a another hit song over here in the US.

This review is from: 50 + 1 (Audio CD)
This is a fantastic album as it features nearly all of Kylie's early work, and is cleverly remixes it together, blending it all into one exciting chunk of Pop perfection. Perfect for fans who have heard little of Kylie's materiel as it gives you a small taste of tracks taken from 5 different albums. Includes 4 no.1 singles, and many more hits and album tracks. JUST BUY IT!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars The ultimate Kylie megamix!, March 25, 2005
A Kid's Review
This review is from: 50 + 1 (Audio CD)
Here it is - The Kylie Minogue megamix from her PWL Era of hits and popular album tracks, if you have any of the PWL albums you should get this aswell. I have reviewed this album before on here and reviewed it only 4 stars, however, I listened to it yesterday and found myself singing to all of the songs and lost my voice after the album had finished!

Scream and Shout as much as you want and like... This album is so fun! It includes such hits as I Should Be So Lucky, Turn It Into Love, Got To Be Certain, Better The Devil You Know, Finer Feelings etc... It's basically 50 hits in one megamix that lasts for a great 70-minutes! It also includes the so-called Techno Rave Remix of Celebration which doesn't really sound like Rave but it is rather pleasant. For more excellent remixes buy Greatest Remix Hits VOLUME 4. That is the only one you need!

This megamix is all very cleverly mixed into one big, fat, delicious chunk! If you can find this and are a Kylie fan, don't hesitate to buy it because it was only made in Japan and may well soon be deleted, if is isn't already!

This album went un-noticed with the UK Top 100 Albums Chart and it ahouldn't of. It's highest was #68, not even in the Top 40 (!) and it didn't even spend more than just 1 week on the Chart... Nevertheless, this album is still great to listen to on a Saturday night or when you're getting ready to go out!

4.0 out of 5 stars A sampler album?, May 31, 2008
This review is from: 50 + 1 (Audio CD)
I enjoyed this album very much but it's not really a greatest hits album but more of a sample of Kylie's early hits from her first 4 albums. It's definitely an album that die hard Kylie fans like myself will just have to add in their collection!

4.0 out of 5 stars Interesting experimentation, May 7, 2007
By
This review is from: 50 + 1 (Audio CD)
Of all of Kylie's CDs, this is her most curious release. It's not exactly a greatest-hits album, and while it's a non-stop mix, it's not exactly a traditional "remix" album. All of Kylie's early songs
(the S-A-W period) are mixed together, so each song is barely a minute in length. It's interesting for the first listen, but subsequent listens will be the real test for listeners. Great for Kylie collectors and completists, but more casual Kylie fans will be better off with "Ultimate Kylie".

4.0 out of 5 stars But it doesn't bring out the VERY best in Kylie..., September 19, 2004
A Kid's Review
This review is from: 50 + 1 (Audio CD)
I'm not really used to giving Kylie 4 stars, as i'd normally give her a 5, but it doesn't bring out the VERY best in her. It's not her worst, but not her best either. If you are a beginner Kylie fan, this is not the best place to look FIRST. Look elsewhere. But if you like 76-minute long megamixes, buy it. (76.08) Tracklisting:

1. Do You Dare? 2. I Guess I Like It Like That 3. Closer 4. Shocked 5. Things Can Only Get Better 6. What Do I Have To Do? 7. Better The Devil You Know 8. What Kind Of Fool? (Heard All That Before) 9. Secrets 10. Where In The World? 11. Give Me Just A Little More Time 12. I Miss You 13. Step Back In Time 14. Celebration 15. Right Here, Right Now 16. Always Find The Time 17. Look My Way 18. Count The Days 19. One Boy Girl 20. Rhythm Of Love 21. Word Is Out 22. Just Wanna Love You 23. It's No Secret 24. I'll Still Be Loving You 25. Let's Get To It 26. Too Much Of A Good Thing 27. Live And Learn 28. Finer Feelings 29. The World Still Turns 30. My Secert Heart 31. No World Without You 32. Especially For You 33. Say The Word 34. Tears On My Pillow 35. Telltale Signs 36. If You Were With Me Now 37. Heaven And Earth 38. Nothing To Lose 39. Wouldn't Change A Thing 40. Je Ne Sais Pas Pourquoi 41. Made In Heaven 42. Hand On Your Heart 43. Enjoy Yourself 44. I'm Over Dreaming Over You 45. Never Too Late 46. Love At First Sight (Kylie '88, Not FEVER) 47. Got To Be Certain 48. Turn It Into Love 49. I Should Be So Lucky 50. The Locomotion SPECIAL BONUS TRACK 51. Celebration (Techno Rave Remix)

The tracks are at approx. 1 minute and something (or so) long. She also missed 4 tracks out (We Know The Meaning Of Love, Getting Closer, Glad To Be Alive and I Am The One For You). So... Wouldn't it have been better to put those 4 tracks on, instead of the Celebration remix? Because it is pretty rubbish (the remix).

Everyone has to be cruel sometimes...

...But on the whole I was very pleased with this purchase because it was POP and it was FUN.
