As you can easily see below, lots of great actors appeared in TV westerns back in the 1950s and '60s, both on a regular basis and as guest stars. The 50 GREAT WESTERN TV SHOWS box set is a fine way for us old folks to remember the westerns we loved as kids, and an even better opportunity for later generations to experience some of television's greatest vintage programming.

This list is from dvdtvshows.com, which has lots of TV on DVD at reasonable prices. I ordered this set from Amazon as the price was lower, but I haven't received the set or watched it yet. I had to give it a rating in order to post this list.
